I had a wonderful experience at this hostel. The room was always clean and well-maintained throughout my visit, which I really appreciated. Beyond the facilities, the host was incredibly welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and truly made the stay better with their hospitality.

Super stay, super host.

Family room was a good size. Comfy beds and good bathroom. Breakfast nice. Our host Tote was very friendly and offered excellent travel advice, even coming up with a 3 day itenary for us. We hired a car from Calama and found travelling around easy, without having to book tours and enjoy the Atacama at our pace.

Amazing Stay at Casa Sirius!

I had the pleasure of spending a few days at Casa Sirius, and I am absolutely impressed! The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly – they go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. One standout service is the free taxi service, which is super convenient and reliable. The breakfast was a highlight! It was not only generous but also absolutely delicious – you can tell it’s made with love. The accommodation is clean, cozy, and well-located. I would highly recommend Casa Sirius to anyone who values excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to the team at Casa Sirius! I’ll definitely be back! 😊

Tote, the owner, is amazing. He helped organize everything for me, from day trips, night trips, rides to town, to transportation back to the airport. The bed was just fine, the breakfast was just what I needed to get the day going.

Family Stay in San Pedro

The owner of the place is very helpful in organizing the trips as he himself is the organizer of the sky-watching tours. He is very happy to assist to give advice, so the stay is as pleasant as possible. This was the case with my visit. In addition, the experience facilitates understanding the way of life in the area as in fact one feels like staying with the family, as there is only 4 rooms managed.

The owners of Casa Sirius were wonderful people, and I'm thankful for their hospitality. Normally I wouldn't leave a bad review for a family run establishment, especially as lovely as this family, but the other reviews felt so misleading that I thought I would share my POV. If I were only using this hostel for sleep, the price would make it worth it. Unfortunately I got food poisoning (potentially from the breakfast but can't be sure), and had to spend my entire time in San Pedro trapped in my barren room. The bathroom window looked into the courtyard and was missing some pains of glass, making is awkward to go cause I was sick. There were no fans or air conditioning, and my only window was next to the family's door so I was kept up till late with noises from them and their dogs. There was only beds and a fridge, and I wasn't allowed to put my luggage on the beds. It was as far away from town as could be (25-30min walk on mostly dirt roads), which made it hard to get supplies to feel better. This is a good accommodation if you're on an extreme budget because San Pedro is very expensive, but I regret not spending more money for something a little nicer.

Maravilhosa!

A melhor escolha que poderia ter feito em San Pedro de Atacama. A acomodação é limpa e extremamente confortável e o café da manhã é delicioso. Excelente!!

O hotel é simples, como 90% das hospedagens em San Pedro, mas é extremamente limpo e confortável. Fica a 15 minutos da rua principal e é muito tranquilo caminhar até lá. O café da manhã é simples mas gostoso, pelo que vi quase todas hospedagens oferecem o mesmo formato simplificado. Os proprietários, Daisy e Tote, fizeram toda diferença na estadia, parecem até pais dos hóspedes. Estávamos em San Pedro quando a neve estourou, eles nos ajudaram como puderam para que a gente ainda aproveitasse a estadia. Não se assuste com a aparência dos bairros, parecem simples mas é seguro e amigável. Há restaurantes locais por perto que oferecem a melhor opção de almoço.

Nos sentimos em casa

Ficamos em uma outra casa que os donos da Sirius chamam de anexo. Eles colocam o pessoal que está de carro próprio ou alugado por lá, pois tem um estacionamento particular. Nesse anexo os quartos são confortáveis, com um tamanho legal, chuveiro bem quente. Você toma café da manhã por lá mesmo, que eles servem todos os dias com porções já prontas para cada um dos hóspedes. Daisy e Tote foram ótimos e fizeram de tudo para nos sentirmos em casa, dando todas as informações que precisávamos sobre a cidade e passeios. Inclusive, o tour astronômico com eles foi excelente (único passeio que fizemos com eles, pois, como disse, estávamos de carro e fizemos o resto sozinhos).

Os donos são extremamente simpáticos e solícitos, acho isso muito importante. Possui água no hotel e isso é um ponto positivo. Chuveiro bom E QUENTE, uma boa cama para dormir. Café da manhã muito bom também, melhor que que ficamos na última vez que estivemos no Atacama. Fica longe do centro sim, mas isso não foi problema nenhum, pois o dono se disponibiliza para levar e buscar do centro, muito gentil
