"This is a wonderfully nostalgic place to stay. The manager was incredibly nice and the cleaning person was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel."
"My entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable communication to the stunning cabin where we spent the weekend, everything exceeded my expectations. The cabin is beautiful and clean, and every amenity we could have needed was provided. To describe it simply: Imagine the cabin you dreamed of as a child, and then walk into that same cabin as an adult. It felt like a dream come true. Celebrating my mom’s 75th birthday there with my daughter, made it the most memorable birthday my mom has ever had. A heartfelt thank you to our hosts for their thoughtful attention to every detail. Your care and effort truly shine through in this magical place. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. 4X4 is recommended - but who does not love to 4X4! Thank you again - I plan to visit this place again in the future!"
The Alpaca Barnhaus in the Jemez Mountains-Quiet & Comfortable at 8700'
10/10 Excellent
"The Alpaca Barnhaus is a wonderful place to stay! The hosts, Mickey and Evelyn are delightful woman who offer a unique experience with three alpacas and two dogs on site. The Barnhaus is well appointed with everything you need from spices in the kitchen, to fluffy towels in the bathrooms, and comfortable beds with great pillows. It is very clean, spacious, and homey. We especially loved the wrap-around porch, which had comfortable rocking chairs, lounge chairs, and a large picnic table. It’s a serene place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee, or to star gaze at night, or simply to enjoy the fresh mountain air and scenery. We loved having the chance to meet the alpacas and interact with them close-up (no petting allowed). The barn is extremely clean and a fun place to visit. As for location, the Barnhaus has a close hiking trail down to the San Antonio Hot Springs (beautiful but very steep). It’s any easy drive to everything you might want to do in Jemez Springs or the Valles Calsera. I highly recommend it! We will visit again for sure."
Private/Cozy 2 bedroom mountain cabin Serenity now
10/10 Excellent
"We just spent a wonderful weekend in this cabin. Todd was available to answer any questions we had. The house was very neat and well stocked. We cannot wait to be back!"
"This has been the best stay we have ever experienced. We'll stocked, very clean, lots of space, lots to do, and the best host leaving gifts for the granddaughter and Popsicles sure made all of our experience the best!!!"
"We love this spectacularly located and stunningly appointed luxury home. This was our second stay at Casita de Arrebol, and definitely not our last. Courtney and Shaun are the consummate hosts. Courtney responded immediately to a question we had, and she was so kind. It’s hard to leave such a beautiful place. We look forward to a return visit and a longer stay one day soon. The energy of this home and generous acreage to explore is blissful! Thank you !"
