"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. "Rober and his wife are very kind and supportive and gave us a lot of hints for locations to visit. The perfectly clean house provides everything we needed during 9 days for a comfortable stay, especially as we prepared our own meals. "Be carefull. It’s a compagny who rent this place. Not personalized at all. After paying by credit card our stay, they kept asking for security deposit (never it was asked before by the other 5 places). After spending a few hours trying to make an agreement, we decided to cancel and go somewhere else ( we felt like it was fraud). They never refund us…We lost more than 500$ CAN. 😡"

"We had a very lovely welcome from Anna and she told us where to eat etc. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay to explore the area as we were en-route down to the South but the scenary and area looked fantastic as we drove through.
