  • This charming 1-bedroom unit in a duplex home, located just 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, and yet is ideally situated within short walking distance of vibrant downtown San Rafael. Enjoy the best the city has to offer – wide variety of restaurants, bars, live music venues, hiking trails, a movie theater, boutique shopping, a local book store, groceries, and much more. The home is also less than an hour drive to the beautiful Sonoma and Napa wine country regions. The unit features a spacious bedroom with a large closet, a cozy living room, and a modern, well-stocked kitchen with all appliances and essentials. Our stay was absolutely lovely! Everything was new, clean and lots of extras were included. Our host, Melanie, was fantastic. :) The pictures well represented the rental. It was an EXCELLENT location. Perfect for trips North to whale watch or South to Muir Woods and downtown San Francisco. It is important to remember that San Francisco is in the hills, and this is too. The area was nice, quiet and relaxing. We were able to enjoy quiet after our busy days of adventure. Highly recommend. :)
