Great location, but lacks transparency on heat and rulesRating: The only positive aspect of this property is its location. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing due to a lack of transparency and comfort issues.The biggest problem was the heat. San Salvador reached 91F, and the house was an oven, especially the common areas. The listing failed to mention that only one bedroom has AC. Also, a ceiling fan in another room was broken; I had to bring my own fan from a relative's house just to sleep. The host instructed us to turn off the AC when leaving, but following that was impossible if we wanted to return to a livable space.The layout was also unclear: all bedrooms are on the second floor, which should be disclosed. The kitchen is poorly equipped and lacks a toaster. Regarding cleanliness, despite a strict "no smoking" rule, we found a cigarette butt on the patio floor right by the entrance (as seen in image.png).Lastly, the rules changed after arrival. The listing said "no parties," but the host later messaged saying "no visitors" allowed. This is too restrictive and should be disclosed before booking. I would not have rented this place if the description had been honest about the AC and rules. If you need a cool environment, I do not recommend this stay.
