At first we read real bad reviews and were concerned but we didn't have any issues and the staff was very helpful, the hotel is not new but in good condition, the location was perfect for our trip purpose, yes I would stay again there without any concern.

Staff is great, location is perfect and if you appreciate the history and charm of the old building, this is perfect. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it was a headache finding the hotel. No sign, no number on the property and Waze and Google map couldn’t locate the address. Overall I’m very satisfied with my stay.

Small hotel in the bustling heart of San Salvador. Rooms are small but comfy. Street noise can be a little tough at night. TONS of restaurants and activities within blocks of the hotel. Staff was incredibly kind. The security guard offered to drive our car to the offsite parking and proceeded to give us an impromptu tour on the walk back.

Really convenient location. We stayed here our first night in El Salvador and arrived late. Parking was a little tricky since our Spanish isn’t great but they helped us to the lot. It allowed us to stay one night in SAL and get up and do a quick tour of highlights on foot before we moved on. Small rooms, tiny bathrooms but it was fine. They could have had the ac turned on for us before we arrived …it was very hot in the room when we arrived with our luggage !

The room was very clean, good maid service, door man made you feel secure and welcome. The only drawback was that there was sewage smell coming out of the bathroom. But the maids tried to do their best to try to eliminate the order, but it continue. That location was perfect as well.

This place is difficult to find and doesn’t have parking on site. You have to pull up to the door and the guy comes out and asks if you want him to take your car and park it or you can go with him and then come back. The room looks like they tried to update it but it doesn’t help it still looks dingy the sheets don’t look clean. The only thing that this place has going is the location and the staff was friendly

My stay at Hotel Abrego was extremely disappointing. The room was in deplorable condition: dirty towels, black stains on the walls, and clearly unwashed bed linens. The conditions were completely unhygienic for the price the hotel advertises and charges. It was unacceptable to find a room in that state. However, I want to highlight the excellent service provided by Liliana, Estefania, William, Margarita, and Porfirio. Their service was truly outstanding, professional, and very friendly, and they deserve all the praise. Overall, due to the unsanitary conditions of the room, I would not recommend staying at this hotel

The room did have air conditioning. We felt that it was still kind of hot in the room, even on the lowest setting, but it has a great location, tons of shops nearby, right next to the historical district. You can walk any direction and find food shopping and things to see.

A great location for enjoying downtown El Salvador close to the library and palace and many nice plazas. It’s a safe area and the hotel is clean. Good luck finding it as there are no signs and so we asked someone. The security helped us park the car and get our suitcases. They were very helpful. The room was clean and sufficient with air conditioning. The big downside was the smell in the bathroom probably because it’s old but hopefully they can work on that. It’s a little gem and worth the price to enjoy the historic center of San Salvador.
