"The pool and breakfast were the main reasons for staying here for us and both were great. Tons of choices for breakfast, both hot and cold. The pool was a bit chilly but felt good on a hot day. My biggest complaint was the room. It was outdated and in need of a lot of upkeep. Lots of dings and chips on walls and appliances. There was no fan or window in our bathroom so it was incredibly humid after showers. We tried to keep the bathroom door open but it always closed so we had to prop it open. The pictures on the website looked much nicer than our room. Possibly started an update but all rooms were not complete yet? The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but the room was just ok."

"We booked this reservation just a couple of days ahead of getting there and the place couldn’t be a more welcoming and pleasant place to stay. Buddy, the owner, really went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, bed and pillows very comfortable, and the restroom/shower area, super clean and well kept. Although we didn’t get to use it, they have an indoor pool with a homey atmosphere, including tables and chairs, and a TV in the dining area. It is a motel reminiscent of the 50s and 60s with it’s decor. Like stepping into a movie with James Dean. Just across the highway/street, access to beachfront space where you can find rocks and driftwood and calming sounds of the ocean as the waves lap onto the shore. Also don’t miss the night sky full of stars! We will definitely be returning here in the near future and next time for more than one night."
