"We’ve been in Portugal for 5 days now and just getting to know our way around. Trying to find this place and understand parking in my opinion is not so easy. Maybe if you’re from Europe. The last place we stayed the host was easy to talk to via what’s app so if there was a problem it was handled immediately. This host is hard to reach and honestly not enough info if you’ve never been here. to navigate it all Luckily the locals helped a lot. The house had no power when we arrived my husband was savy enough the realize the breaker was off. The first floor bath does not flush unless you play with the tank again lucky to have handy husband Upstairs shower has maybe 2 minutes hot water and the sink doesn’t drain. Went down in the morning down stairs for toast and jam and the jam had mold on it. Upstairs bath had a left over bar of soap on the sink. Sorry but where has that bar been exactly. The pillows have covers that can not be removed so who’s washing them? We wanted to love this place but other than that cool factor ughh !!"

"Amazingly beautiful hotel, absolutely loved it. Hotel staff are wonderful, breakfast and patio bar are amazing. Only downfall is you have to park quite a ways away and roll your luggage a long way there through broken cobblestone. Otherwise this experience is quite amazing."

"Le personnel est très accueillant et accommodant. Notre chambre était confortable et nous avions même un petit salon. Cet établissement est rempli de livres de toutes sortes, mais surtout à deux pas des remparts. Nos amis nous l’avait recommandé et nous n’avons pas été déçu."

"No coffee pods or soap/shampoo provided for shower. Having those would have made a huge difference in our stay. The pool was nice and they had towels. We were able to walk into town which was nice. The view of castle was terrific. Very quiet and peaceful."
