"Nice place, lots of space inside and out! Well stocked kitchen and lots of toys for the lake. Not a great swimming area but we were able to use floaties. I would definitely stay here again."

"We have vacationed at many VRBO's and this cabin was by far one the best! You will lack for nothing in this extremely well appointed and furnished cabin. Just bring your family and friends (furry ones too!) and enjoy the spectacular view of North Star Lake from cabin or patio. The owners have thought of everything, so you can just enjoy your stay. The cabin is even bigger than the pictures represent as is the yard. Our dogs LOVED being able to wander the yard and get lots of sniffs and zoomies. There are no nearby neighbors so your privacy is guaranteed. The pool table was a huge hit with our boys as was the yard where they could toss the football and play yard games. Beds, bedding, furniture were very comfortable and the couch/chair blankets were the coziest! Great bathrooms and full laundry room access made our stay very convenient and comfortable. Access to the lake is a bit of trek down a steep wooded path and several flights of stairs, so if you have any mobility challenges plan ahead. This is true for most properties on North Star Lake where steep lake banks are common. Trade off is sweeping views of the lake. We brought our own fishing boat so the dock with built in bumpers was greatly appreciated and easy to use. Owners provide two kayaks and a canoe for your use which is perfect for the bays you have access to, but as we had our own boat never used. Hosts are very good with communication and extremely accommodating. A great place to vacation in Marcell area!"

"We have been staying at VRBOs for 30 years and this experience rates as one of the best. The hosts have done an excellent job updating and making this place shine. First off, the cabin is spotless upon your arrival. Very well stocked with kitchen supplies & plenty of quality bathroom towels & supplies. The beds and furniture are quite comfortable. It was on the hot side while we were there but with plenty of excellent windows open we never had to turn on the air as the breeze off the lake was perfect. Obviously, this is not a large cabin. However, it never feels cramped inside. WIFI signal is strong and many channels available for TV viewing.Finally, Steve is a top tier host. Extremely responsive and communicative while fully respecting your privacy. We highly recommend this rental!"

"Adorable, clean cabin with lots of essentials! Nice shower, comfy beds, wifi, and climate control with fans, window ac, and a heater. The perfect quite get away with plenty to do, fishing, paddle boarding, tanning, swimming, yards games, etc. you won’t want to be on your phone, but if you do you still have service! Very little bugs even with low wind, and beautiful sunsets and star gazing. Would absolutely book again!"

"Great We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and truly enjoyed every moment. It is the perfect place for anyone looking to get away from the noise and stress of the city and spend quality time surrounded by nature. The peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to relax and recharge.The cabin was comfortable, clean, and had everything our family needed for a great vacation. We especially appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the quiet environment. It was a perfect place to create special memories together.If you're looking for a peaceful family getaway, we highly recommend this cabin. "This is a great space for a family get away with a large, open indoor area and room to sleep 10. Right out the back door is a walk out patio overlooking a small private beach, dock, boat, a floating dock with a slide and more! The host was easy to get a hold of and was very helpful. He was great to work with!"
