Lakefront 3-BR Home Summer and Winter Getaways close to Sports Force

This house is located on the peninsula and approximately 3 miles from Cedar Point Amusement Park and 2 miles from Sports Force. The property has wonderful views of Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay (a deck at the end of the lane provides a nice place to enjoy fishing and sunsets over the bay) where you could enjoy fishing.

Cedar Points public beach is a great place to enjoy swimming, jet ski rentals, paddle boards and parasailing.

This two story home features a wall of sliding glass doors on the second floor to provide stunning morning views of Lake Erie. There is a large family room on the upper and lower level both with 42 inch TVs. The upper primary bedroom has a king bed and shares a full bath with Tub. The first floor primary has a private bathroom and a queen bed. The second floor has an additional bedroom with four twin beds a full bathroom and a second family room.

There are two decks on which you can enjoy your meals, drinks, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There is a gas grille on the deck right outside the kitchen patio door.

The kitchen is well-equipped. Linens for bedrooms and baths are provided for your use.

We came to Sandusky to go to Cedar Point so the location of Doug's house was perfect and just a short drive to the park.The house was clean, the beds were comfy and the common area allowed us plenty of space to hang out, share a meal and giggle about our day in the park. Thank you Doug for allowing us to stay at your place and create lasting memories.

Relaxing location by the lake

Great weekend spot for meet up location with friends. Great table for games & deck and balcony were good outdoor spaces with great views. Quiet neighborhood and close to Sandusky for restaurants. Communication with host was smooth all the way from booking to checkout.

Lakefront stay

We stayed at Doug’s property overnight while we were in town for a Baptism. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space for us to spread out. The view of the lake is beautiful! The neighborhood is very nice. Wouldn’t mind staying here again in the warm weather.

Beautiful view

Very convenient location to Cedar Point. The views are beautiful from the balcony. Found everything we needed for our stay. We stayed with our grandchildren who are tweens, they loved that they had their own space. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Location

Minutes from Cedar Point and incredible views! Wonderful family trip up to Lake Erie and Cedar Point. We loved the house and it accommodated our family perfectly. Doug is a great host and we can wait to come back!

Great property and great location

We are a family of 4 that was visiting our Ohio family over the holidays and Doug's property was great. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and even though the weather was wet and windy, the house was air tight and we didn't have to mess with the thermometer much at all. There were plenty of towels, pillows, plugs, tvs, etc. We will definitely book again.

Wonderful Stay

The house was fantastic and the location beautiful. I think 8 is a good max on the number of people because anymore and it would get way cramped, but our 6 adults enjoyed the space immensely.

Sandusky getaway

Truly enjoyed our stay at this home. Doug’s family lives nearby, so if you need anything they are very responsive and extremely friendly. The house has beautiful views of the water and easy access to/from Cedar Point. We will absolutely stay at one of the properties owned by Doug again.

Lakefront on Lake Erie

Our stay was wonderful! Property listing was accurate. Property owner was extremely professional in all means of communication. We appreciate the owner making significant efforts to ensure our stay was very good. Property location is ideal. Very close proximity to travel to Huron and downtown Sandusky. Enjoyed great food, watching the sunrise and sunsets!
