From the moment I arrived, Janey gave clear directions and we were welcomed into a clean, inviting home. She made sure we knew she was available 24/7 if any needs arose. The kitchen was impressively well stocked, and the personalized welcome basket and sign made the space feel incredibly warm and thoughtful. The extra touches — from the personal care items to the chocolate treats and lovely wine/cocktail offerings — went far beyond the basics and made me feel genuinely cared for as a guest.I came here to relax and refresh, while the guys fished the nearby lake and this was the perfect place to do just that. Hearing the owls at night and the occasional distant train horn was a soothing reminder of country living and brought back fond memories from my childhood. I especially loved the beautiful main bathtub, which I enjoyed nightly, the comfortable bed, and the abundance of cozy blankets that made the home feel just like my own.If you’re looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly retreat where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, I cannot recommend this home and host, Janey, highly enough. I would absolutely stay here again."
