"The host was flexible and exceptional. What a quaint little community. We loved the sunsets and the deer! They were amazing.We traveled as a family of six- My husband, myself, my daughter, her husband, their two small children and a couple of chihuahuas. I loved the colors of the place and the amenities! "Family friendly place. All the beds were very comfortable. I love the set up here. There were a total of 6 king sized beds. (Also 8 bunks) The house easily sleeps 12. We truly enjoyed the dock, parking our boat and the dock swing. The only thing I would caution people about is the parking situation is very tight and the road to the house a little challenging. I'm glad this didn't scare me off, because once we got there everything was perfect! We will be back!"

The “crowning glory” of the Retreat Houses is there is access to a large beautiful pool AND a beautiful lake right across the street! A great place to make family adventures along with your dogs!We will continue to frequent The Retreat!"

"Fell in love with the view from the deck immediately, and loved that you didn't have to give it up when you went inside! This cozy cabin was well appointed and comfortable. We chose this home because it had a boathouse that made it easy to bring our boat and enjoy the lake all day. We checked PK lake off the bucket list! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!"
