"This place is as okay, we had just stayed somewhere else near Yosemite with a similar setup but executed better so that really showed. The cabin was nice, except there was only one small frosted window for outside light, which was bright at night because of the lights outside (which were very pretty though). There was only overhead lights inside & they were so bright, we had to cover the one above the bed so we could chill in the afternoon without it being so bright in the room. Having to pay extra for the kitchen & laundry was unexpected, maybe I didn’t read enough into it, but it was not expensive so we did it, but there was less amenities in there than expected & a lot of bugs, but we mostly used that sink to get ready since there was only one in the bathroom. Which, was for everyone, not split by gender, and there was only two toilets & four showers, which was fine but my boyfriend & I went to shower at the same time because I didn’t feel super comfortable going by myself. Overall the bathroom was very rustic, but we didn’t mind it since we were out in the middle of nowhere basically. There was also outdoor seating which was cute but it was too close quarters to sit out there with anyone else staying there. We went to the restaurant twice & both times it seemed like everyone was disorganized & rushing around even if there wasn’t that many people in there, but there was a cute cat! Overall it was fine & close to the park."
"Stayed in the Guest Suite for 4 days. The hosts were so friendly, the suite was exceptionally clean, and the area is beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again!"
"We arrived an hour early and were able to check in with adjoining rooms. Beautiful location on King River with lounge chairs to enjoy the views outside. Picnic area is where you can use a propane camp stove to cookout. (No charcoal) Snack bar serves starbucks coffee and there is a cute gift shop with lower prices than the park shops. We enjoyed our stay, 2 elders a young couple and you g adults.
I would be worried of the river if you had young children. And a note that the room doors lock from the inside- old fashioned push button on the handle."
"i did not like that when I would like to get a cup of coffee, there was never any clean coffee cups. Also, it was snowing while we were up there and nobody bothered to feed the fireplace in the lobby."
"The cabin is beautifully decorated, with historic memoriabilia, and in a beautiful space! It made for such an interesting stay! It's comfortable, with an original footed tub, the cutest kitchen ever, and a very comfortable living room. It's located just across the street from the Pinehurst Lodge, making grabbing a meal very convenient. The host was responsive, and check-in was very easy - she provided all of the needed information before I arrived. Would definitely stay there again!"
