"The Resort was really nice and very clean. Staff was very pleasant. I only had one issue which was that I really couldn’t enjoy the balcony because it was too hot to sit out there due to the AC condenser which was blowing hot air. I don’t know whose idea it was to place them there but it defeats the purpose of having a balcony if you cannot sit there. "

"We stayed in a standard room - King bed for 7 nights while staying in Barbados for the Australia V West Indies test cricket. We loved our accommodation. Our room was on the second floor overlooking one of the pools plus we had beach views. It was modern and clean. The hotel arranged a shuttle for all guests going to and from the cricket each day. This was fabulous! Earl and Dave (our drivers) were both legends. The shuttle cost 20 BBD pp. I loved that we had an actual laundry - not an expensive laundry service - (but instead a shared washing machine and dryer on our floor) that we could use without payment. We used it several times - there's a clothes rack in the room for drying clothes on your balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped - a decent sized fridge and freezer (which was great for freezing waters for each day at the cricket), toaster, kettle, coffee machine (no instructions for how to work it though) crockery and glassware. The room was spacious, and the balcony was perfect after a long hot day at the cricket. Local buses (we only used the yellow ones) are literally at your doorstep for only $3.50 BBD pp in each direction (no matter where you get off). We caught them regularly to check out Bridgetown, Holetown...A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around $70USD from memory - what I loved was the fixed pricing chart at the airport. The hotel has an awesome bar on site and a little store. Although, for groceries just take a local bus to the supermarket. "

A special mention goes to Pat for the incredible omelets and conversation each morning, and to Kwesi for always making sure we had everything we needed by the pool. "Our stay at Bon Vivant Villa was incredible. Every meal was a culinary delight. The staff are tremendous and extremely friendly. The location within a short walk to one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited is a huge benefit. The grounds of the house are expansive with many activities at your disposal. Would highly recommend. "Fabulous! Small boutique hotel feeling throughout the property and efficient, friendly service. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. Our room was bright and fresh. Plenty of storage. The food is excellent! Huge range of delicious food that exceeded our expectations. The service from all the ladies waiting on tables was excellent. We felt their service was personal and professional. Drinks service was generous and plentiful with international brands. Poolside service was helpful, pleasant and frequent. The pool area was small but there were always sun-beds available and we helped ourselves to pool towels throughout the day whenever we needed fresh ones. We loved the live music in the evening during dinner and the friendly vibe from the mainly British and English speaking guests at the bar in the evening was a bonus! We enjoyed the complimentary boat shuttle to the other hotels in the group. Just took the boat for the ride and enjoyed seeing the coast line. The all-inclusive package felt premium and there weren’t any areas that we felt could be improved upon. Oh! Would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom! "
