"We had a fabulous stay in the Robert Johnson House--loved the location, loved the staff, loved the quiet! There was a slight leak in our room (the carpet in one small section was wet) by the third day, probably from the air conditioner working hard in the 100 degree heat, but that was the only thing shy of outstanding."

"Enjoyed a relaxing stay overall because of nice amenities like the sauna, jacuzzi, and flat screen, but there were a few things that we were disappointed by. The property listing said that the kitchenette included utensils, plates, bowls, and dual hot plate. We arrived with food to cook on the hot plate but were not able to make any of it since we weren't told that there was no hot plate, knives, cutting board, bowls, etc. until we contacted the host. The sauna and bedding were clean, but some of the dishes were still dirty and an ant trap was spilled on the kitchen counter. We hoped for things to be a little more thoroughly cleaned and accurate to the listing for the price, but the host seemed nice and garage entrance was very convenient."

"Everything was very nice, clean updated room wonderful staff. The only complaint was that there is a light mounted outside just above the window that is extremely bright, even the curtain couldn’t block it out, so bright I could navigate the entire room, even the bathroom without needing an inside light."

"We stayed at the Firefly Cottage for my 40th Birthday, and we had such an amazing experience.We have used Vrbo for stays all around the country, but this stay stood out. The hosts were absolutely amazing and made our trip feel extra special, especially for my birthday. The hospitality they showed was top notch. From before our stay, to during our stay and even when we checked out, they were so kind and generous and it's something I know I won't ever forget.The cottage was outfitted with amazing amenities and is in such a great location. There is a shopping center with everything you could need, just down the street. Downtown Annapolis is only 15 minutes away as well. It's such a great spot for a getaway!We look forward to being back!"

"The hotel is lovely and right in the heart of everything. We walked to each meal and walked even further for exercise. The room was clean and had all that we needed aside from some missing toiletries. As busy as the hotel was, the noise was contained and did not bother us. Overall a great stay and we will definitely choose this hotel in the future."

"We had a great time at Elliot’s place! The water is not on the property, but about 300 yards away across the street and through a short trail. The house is lovely - plenty of space for twelve. Between the den, eat-in kitchen and dining room, back porch, game room, and a huge backyard, everyone could have their own space. The grill is excellent, the ping-pong paddles are in the chairs!, and the beds are comfortable. I’d gladly stay again at Elliot’s place!"

"We were a large party - grandparents, 3 grown children with spouses, and 8 grandchildren ranging in ages 3-19. There were plenty of spaces available to eat, sleep, play, and just hang out! The venue was beautiful and well appointed. The pool was used daily and the pier provided a place to fish, crab, and moor the 19’ Carolina skiff our son-in-law brought.(Note that there is not a public boat ramp close by. He put in at Sandy Point State Park and motored to the rental pier.) There was adequate parking for our 5 vehicles as well as the boat trailer. The kids were excited to climb up to the treehouse, and it was nice to discover that there was wire netting around the spiral stairway. We also enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided. The only cons were that the plug for the treadmill couldn't be found so it was inoperable, and the lower level rooms were cold. And we believe that it should be mentioned in the bedroom descriptions that one of the king size beds is a pullout couch located in the pool house, where the accompanying bathroom/sink is located just outside. This was not a problem for two teenagers - who enjoyed their privacy, and didn't mind an outdoor shower - but might be for others. Altogether a lovely rental and we had a thoroughly wonderful time! All agreed that we want to come back."
