The place was easily found, room specious and clean, internet was fine, breakfast lovely with espresso. There were a lot of grassy areas with chairs and benches to chill outside.

The Historic Taos Inn
This was a lovely historic hotel to stay at in the heart of Taos. Great location, comfortable room (though the temp was a little warm - had to sleep with window open), nice lobby and beautiful property. I'd stay there for the cool neon sign alone! Easy to walk so many places!

Alpine Village Suites
Beautiful place - room with a fireplace and a balcony - wonderful. May have been the time of year but very few places to eat - and the two places open did close very early - one by 5:00pm.

The casita is a little getaway 2 blocks from Taos Plaza with free WiFi!
This little casita felt peaceful and lovely. I was so pleased to find a rental with a bathtub for private soaking and it even had a skylight overhead! Perfect for a personal retreat and located 2 blocks from the plaza, shops, and fine dining if you want that, as well.
