"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"A lovely house. The grounds are phenomenal with lovely views of the countryside. Plenty of room for people. Mahil was very helpful and approachable. Pool is glorious and huge. There was a heating issue with the pool but Mahil fixed it without haste. Slight issue is the shop is probably 20 minutes away. Also we paid extra for sheets and towels as didn’t have enough room in the car but there was only one towel each and no floor mat or tea towel. Otherwise very lovely property."

"When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. "We had a lovely relaxing couple of weeks 11-25 May 2024. Karima and Mark were great hosts. The weather wasn’t great unusually for this time of year so we only used the pool a few times which was a shame as I love to swim. We made the most of what good weather we had. My husband loves to cycle so on the dry days he explored the area on his bike. The house was lovely and we had most things we needed."

"Lovely spacious Gite would suit two families. Was far to big just for us. Very dog friendly. Good location for surrounding tourist locations. Sometimes noisey due to neighbours mowing and riding motorbike around garden. New mattress required on downstairs bed. Owners really lovely people. This is definitely a great holiday location."

"Gite agréable, maison fraiche (même sans clim mais clim appréciable en période de forte chaleur comme nous avons eu), proche tous commerces. "The hotel is in a good position near the town centre. I requested a quiet room, which we were given. The bed was very comfortable and bed linen good quality. The room was well cleaned before and during our visit. The garden and pool were an added bonus. Breakfasts had a good selection. The staff were all very friendly and Isabelle was also extremely helpful with all of my queries."
