Hiking enthusiasts can reach the Brigach spring, the Blindes high moor or enjoy the Schallenstein hike near Schonach. For refreshments, it's worth stopping off at the country inn "De Engel". A highlight is a trip on the traditional Black Forest railway, which runs through 39 tunnels and offers spectacular views. The region also has a lot to offer culturally: from the German Clock Museum in Furtwangen and the Black Forest Museum in Triberg to the Phonomuseum in St. Georgen and the railway museum.
