A lot of wood gives the Tannehüsle a cozy and warm atmosphere. With 100 m2 there is plenty of space. The view of nature and landscape goes from everywhere. A large living and dining room with a surrounding balcony offers plenty of space at the table, in one of the sofa corners or on the tiled stove. The high-quality kitchen offers all possibilities. The large, country-style bedroom invites you to restful sleep. Bathroom and toilet are freshly renovated.
The Tannehüsle is located in a quiet residential street in the southern outskirts. A 5-minute walk takes you to the country market, bakery, pharmacy or petrol station, as well as a number of cafés, restaurants and restaurants in the village. Active holidaymakers have excellent opportunities for hiking, mountain biking or cross-country skiing. The Tannehüsle is an ideal starting point to explore the Black Forest and its attractions. St. Märgen itself, St. Peter, Hinterzarten, Titisee, Neustadt and Furtwangen are worthwhile destinations for exploring within a 20-minute drive. The extremely charming "Black Forest metropolis" Freiburg can also be reached in 20 minutes by car. Day trips take you to Alsace, Basel and whoever wants the Europapark. The alpine ski areas on Feldberg can be reached by car in 45 minutes.
With the obligatory tourist tax (see house rules) you automatically buy a ticket for local public transport. Buses run in all directions, from Himmelreich the "Höllentalbahn" goes to Freiburg in 15 minutes. Well-signposted hiking trails allow endless possibilities from short walks to multi-day hikes. A Finnbahn for joint-gentle jogging can be reached in 3 minutes on foot. A dense network of forest trails invites you to go mountain biking. In winter in St. Marches are quite a meter of snow. Then many kilometers of cross-country trails are groomed around the village and there is a connection to the Schonach-Belchen skiing trail.

The house is very well presented and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are large.
Its location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We used our Konus card to visit Titisee, Freiburg and Basel. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool which is within walking distance of the house.
This house is a gem! We loved our time and were sad to leave. The location is spectacular: a quiet neighborhood, beautiful view, within walking distance of a grocery store, bank, bakery, and restaurants. It is in a central location for hiking, swimming, etc. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, and a kitchen with very possible thing you could ever need. We would give 15 stars if we could! Highly recommends staying here.
A wonderful home with amazing views. The living room is large and perfect for relaxing with friends in the evening. The kitchen is well-stocked and everything was very clean. I had fast communication with the owner who provided lots of information and kindly allowed us to check out later on request. We had a wonderful stay and Wolfgang was a very helpful host. The apartment was so perfectly clean and it is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the whole apartment is just well equipped for the stay, making it feel like home. The bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in, and I was especially sad to leave it! :-) There were 5 of us, including our teen/young adult children, and there are beautiful hikes right from the apartment, as well as lots to see and do in the surrounding areas. We loved that there were even vending machines in the village with staple foods in, so that when the shops are closed, you can still get ingredients for a simple meal, which we did on 2 occasions when we hadn't had time to stop at a supermarket. We would recommend this apartment to everyone, and like us, you may not wish to go home afterwards!
Beatiful property, the kitchen was exceedingly well stocked with every possible utensil we could desire. Great location for exploring the region, i would stay again in a heatbeat.
We loved spending time in this house. We felt like home, everything you need is provided, the view is lovely and the village very nice ! We would love to come back !
Standard of accommodation is very high. Well fitted kitchen, dining and living areas, with exceptional views from the balcony (accessed from the living area). Bedrooms are comfortable, furnished adequately. The shower room is very roomy, with good/high end fitments and we were able to use the portable baby bath with ease. There is ample room for two cars to park off road at the front. Ideal location for exploring many places of interest in the Black Forest. Highly recommended.
Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, weit über dem Üblichen. Grosse Schlafzimmer, bequeme Betten, grosses Bad und sehr großer Wohn-Essbereich. Sehr freundlicher, unkomplizierter und zeitnaher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter.Besser gehts nicht.
Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal im Tannenhüsle zu Gast. Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung hat auch dieses Mal keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Handtücher und Bettwäsche ist im Mietpreis inklusive. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ruhig gelegen in einer Sackgasse und aus den Fenstern hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Berge, Wälder einen kleinen Teich und den Feldberg.
Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die ganze Wohnung war sehr sauber und überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte an absolut nichts.
Sehr großzügige und saubere Ferienwohnung mit Charme, neue Küche mit allem Kochzubehör, sehr nette Umgebung, man kann Freiburg gut und kostenlos von der nächsten Bahnstation mittels der in der Kurtaxe enthaltenen Konus-Karte erreichen.
Danke für so ein sauberes, toll ausgestattetes Appartement. Viel mehr vorhanden, als nötig. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und viel größer als erwartet. Gerne wieder !
Alles war wunderbar, Seher gemütlich und sauber. Nur die Check-out Zeit um 9 Uhr finden wir sehr unpraktisch und auch nicht gemütlich. Zum Glück durften wir auf Anfrage später Auschecken, da es direkt nach uns keine Buchung gab. Ein freundlicher Umgang mit dem Gastgeber, deshalb immer wieder gerne

Sehr schöne, grosszügige, gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz in allen Räumen, alles sehr sauber, grosse und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Ruhig gelegen, Blick ins Grüne, 5 Gehminuten in die Dorfmitte und zu den Geschäften. Unkomplizierter Check-In, sehr freundlicher Kontakt zum Vermieter.
