The hotel is very clean and in a good position for the water taxi, close to shops and taxi rank. The rooms were immaculate and the pool and bar area were lovely.

Brilliant hotel in San Antonio Bay - we had two apartments, both of which were spotlessly clean and modern. The staff on reception were brilliant and so helpful and the restaurant / bar area round the pool was fab. We stayed Saturday-Tuesday - DJ was on round the pool on Saturday and Sunday so a great atmosphere but also a really chilled vibe! Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great base outside of the busy San Antonio area!

We absolutely loved our stay at Vago. Lovely good sized, new bedrooms. Huge super comfortable bed and great bathroom with a lovely rainfall shower. Suoer impressed as we didn't know what to expect as was so cheap! Will definitely be returning next year, thanks to all the super friendly helpful staff also.

Cannot recommend Hotel Vago enough! If you’re looking for a laidback spot to chill between parties this is it. Pretty family oriented area so not as chaotic as San Antonio yet close enough if you have plans to go there as well. Great restaurants close by - Johnnys was genuinely nourishing and a great vibe or Taste of Salia about a 10 minute walk were our favourites. Everything else you could need is within a 1-2 minute walk literally steps from the hotel entrance. If you plan to visit San Antonio across the bay skip the cab!! Save yourself the headache of waiting for a car and ask the staff for directions to the water taxi as the port is a little obscure. It’s a quick and scenic ride for €5 pp. and it drops you off a 5 minute walk from the main bus terminal where you can catch the disco bus or shuttle to hï/ushuaïa and [unvrs]. The hotel staff is *chefs kiss* - so helpful, friendly, accommodating, and also just real. They are pretty strict on no noise past a certain time but this allowed for solid rest throughout our entire stay. Also so chill if you have to check out and hang out at the pool before leaving, this made our final day feel less like a waiting game. The pool is also so lovely, swimmable, great food at the bar, and 10/10 djs that will play throughout the afternoon. Rooms themselves are amazing and hairdryer is actually good.

Hidden Gem

Comfy beds, fresh towels every 2nd day, really clean apartments with fully stocked kitchen including hairdryer, iron and ironing board, microwave, toaster, kettle. Beautiful pool and DJ on Sat afternoon. Really great staff who were attentive and really friendly. Reason it us g higher star is that it has no lift but it really should be 4 star. Great location and handy to the local buses and water taxi only short distance away to go into San Antonio. But the walk along the beach is nice as well with terrain being quite flat if you go along the street. goggle maps showed it across the street so that was confusing but it’s directly opposite Kitchen 62 restaurant in behind the standalone ATM. On same side as Irish Bar. Honestly can’t say enough good things about it! Absolute hidden gem

6/10 Okay

July 2026

Overall the stay was ok but we had a few issues which were either not resolved or took a few days for any response. When we arrived the hotel was clean and lovely but there was no lift for accessibility. There were a few ramps. The room was lovely and bed comfortable but the door to the bathroom was jammed, no toilet roll holders so just on the floor, also the safe and tv didn’t work (in fact the back of the tv had a short and gave us a shock!) We contacted reception several times to resolve, after two days they fixed the safe and tv but the bathroom door was still jammed. We also had a quite prickly response from the reception staff when requesting a taxi whereas the hotel down the road was happy to help. Overall, the hotel served it’s purpose of somewhere to stay but it’s not the experience we were hoping for.

Lovely hotel!! Rooms were beautiful and big, the hotel was very clean. Air con in our room worked perfectly. There was a kitchen in our room with cutlery, plates, a microwave and a toaster!! Staff were all so so lovely and helpful. Helped us order a taxi everytime we needed one. Only thing is that there is no lift!! Apart from that the hotel is beautiful and i will most definitely be staying here again! Also in a perfect location!! Thank you :)))

The rooms are gorgeous and so clean! You feel at home immediately and having a kitchen and fridge made it so easy and was lovely to keep drinks in there and keep them nice and cold! The pool was the absolute winner; the whole outside was stunning, aesthetically pleasing and the bar was amazing with lovely staff. All staff were incredible during our stay and we both agreed if we were to return to Ibiza (which we will!!) we will return to Hotel Vago without a doubt! Thank you so much!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vago. We stayed in the Annex building - just down the road from the main hotel. The room was clean with modern fittings, the small kitchen area was really handy and sufficient for 2 people, the bed was comfy and the air con was good (not too loud at night). You could hear people in rooms next door, but nothing too bad. The staff were very helpful and the pool area in the main hotel was really nice and quiet. The area is great if you want/need to stay on the west coast near San Antonio and want to avoid the madness of San Antonio. The Cala de Bou area felt really safe. The only small downside is if you have a hire car in peak season because parking can be difficult and you may need to park 10+ minutes walk from the hotel, which wasn't the end of the world. Certainly recommend Hotel Vago and we'd happily stay there again.

Rooms have recently been renovated. Whilst the rooms have been done to a medium standard the corridors and stairs could also do with some upgrades. No lifts so had to walk up 2 flights with luggage. Pool closed at 7pm on the dot which was very annoying since the sun was still out until at least 9.30pm For the price paid there are better options available
