"We paid a budget price so were not expecting luxury, however there were lots of very basic issues with the house. The place was very musty on arrival and it seemed as if it hadn’t been opened up for a long time. The smell also pervaded the kitchen cupboards so I had to wash every item of crockery and cutlery before we could use it. Not that there was a lot of crockery - only side plates and tapas dishes. Only half of the toaster worked, there were many light fittings without bulbs, we had 4...

"Pros: Relax on the terrace next to the pool. Ability to visit Montserrat early in the morning before crowds arrive. It is in a quite residential street, but close to highway. It takes just about 30 minut to the BCN airport or an hour to Tarragona. Cons: Just missed some spices in the kitchen and some more utensils. Would be also great is the ice maker was working. Everything else was fine."
