The room was very clean, with really comfortable beds and a nice patio. The pool area was perfect for a warm day. The staff is very amenable and provided a nice breakfast. The inn is in a great location - a short walk to the beach and Sterns Wharf, but far enough away from the Main Street that it was really quiet.

We had a beautiful one night stay in a king bed room. The room smelled fresh and clean upon entering. Everything was neat and tidy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and modern. Our window with pretty shutters looked out onto a quiet, tree lined street and we were within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants and wharf. We enjoyed the spa which was nice and hot and checked out a couple of free bikes to ride along the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely property. Very quiet, block from the beach, spacious, remodeled rooms, plus free parking, bikes, breakfast, WiFi and no resort fees. First stayed here in 1994 and happy to keep coming back. Love that Santa Barbara has so many independent hotels and this is one of the best!

We enjoyed the location and walked to the beach, wharf and restaurants and drove easily to vineyards and other beaches. We loved the free bikes, warm pool and hot tub as extra treats. The front desk staff was so helpful when we checked in, giving us lots of area info. Good breakfast. One of our two beds had an older feeling mattress that wasn’t very comfortable. We’d return there for sure.
