Great Place To Stay
I had an incredible stay! The eclectic decor was delightful, and the hostess was wonderful. Despite the rain, the balcony offered a glimpse of its charm as a perfect hangout spot with a beautiful view. Everything was effortless and clean, and the decor suited my taste perfectly. Beautiful taste of the SB lifestyle
This studio is spacious, well-appointed, beautiful light, clean, kitchen well-stocked, lovely wraparound deck - a wonderful base to explore Santa Barbara. Jill was great with communication. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Quiet and Comfortable
Apartment is in a residential neighborhood a short drive away from the beaches, the wharf, downtown, and neighboring Montecito. Having a car seemed essential, and there's a dedicated parking place. Apartment worked nicely for two people. Kitchen, wifi, etc., were useful. I certainly would consider staying here again.

Great view
Well-thought out and maintained . Over-the-garage unit,with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows and French doors for light and view. Lovely wrap-around balcony. Our only regret was not having enough down time for us to enjoy the balcony more! Jill was a great host, answering our questions, and then disappearing to let us enjoy our stay.

Wonderful Studio
This studio was everything we expected: clean, spacious, and nicely furnished, comfortable bed with good linens, great water pressure in the shower, and a well-stocked kitchen. It’s a great place for a single person or couple. The unit is above a garage, and a flight of outdoor stairs leads to the studio. There is also one dedicated off-street parking space on the property. While we never needed to use the laundry facility it was easily accessible. The nearest coffeeshop is a 4-minute drive (1.5 miles) or a nice 30-minute walk to Montecito. There is some road noise from the freeway but not enough to bother us. The occasional honking of the train can be loud when there is an onshore wind, but we were far enough away that it was a minor nuisance. The only problem was the spotty WIFI coverage, which I’m certain the hostess will have resolved by now. Communication with Jill was excellent, and she responded very quickly when we had questions.

We loved the Scenic Studio. It felt like a cute little nest above the city. Close to Santa Barbara attractions - East Beach Tacos! - and Montecito - Bree-Osh bakery! Quiet residential neighborhood. So light and bright with windows on three sides and distant view of the ocean. Large wrap-around patio with lots of seating. Comfortable bed. Kitchen with all the necessities. It was perfect for our stay!

Fabulous weekend getaway
The Scenic Studio was the perfect place to stay for an impromptu weekend getaway. The location was convenient--we were no more than a 15 minute drive to all the best spots in town. We also enjoyed the porch with the spectacular view. The apartment was clean, comfy, and secluded. Jill was a friendly and attentive host. Highly recommend this spot, it's a gem!

I had the best stay this past week, just what I needed for a 5-day work trip -- quiet location and comfy bed with easy carport parking. Very cozy too, super clean and nicely decorated. Plus Jill was just awesome to communicate with. Of course I would rather give a 1 so I can bring the score down and ensure the place is available on my next trip, but I can't do that to Jill!!! Seriously, highly recommend this place!

Quiet, clean and beautiful
We had a great stay! The property features two distinct units, the Scenic Studio and the Scenic Cottage. Both are lovely units, close to the action, clean and meticulously clean. We actually stayed in the cottage. The units are situated so you get a wonderful cooling breeze throughout. Parking was easy with no hassles, which is a big plus in CA. Jill was very responsive to our needs, and by the way, has a great steak house downtown called Jill's Place. Check it out - it was wonderful! Anyway, you can't go wrong with either of Jill's units for your stay in the Santa Barbara area.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights and found this place to be comfy, clean, and cozy. Very good location. Very clean, which is a top priority for me! It was obvious they pay close attention to detail to make sure you have all you need to be comfortable including a well equipped kitchen and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again!

The location above a garage and separate from other units was ideal for a musician or anyone concerned about noise. Very clean, and well supplied kitchen, the balcony is a great plus. While the mattress was soft for my comfort, Jill was a very responsive and helpful host. @25 min walk to grocery, coffee shop, ice cream and @ 40 min walk to Butterfly Beach. Highly recommend

The studio was as advertised, clean and in a good location … the parking spot was helpful and the studio did seem to be larger with the high ceilings … getting access to the studio on day one was troublesome for me, I did not receive and communication from the owner on the address of the studio or how to gain access …had to contact the owner and she was able to guide me through this process with just a little bit of heartburn

Awesome place to rest after a long trip back from NM. Only thing, we were there on a Thursday and the gardener was there. A piece of paper in kitchen said he'd be there 45 min but it was well over an hr or 2. Not a huge deal but between that and the the construction being done in neighborhood, it wasn't quiet or as restful as I'd hoped for in the afternoon. But really not a big deal, just note this in case you're there on Thursday and planning to sleep in allll day like we were trying to do after a long flight lol. It was nice over all and we'd stay again. Definitely recommend.

Jill's place was quintessential Santa Barbara with great outdoor space, comfortable low-key indoor space, and a relaxed vibe. While it is a studio, the smart layout and interior design make it feel considerably larger than its square footage might indicate. The sleeping/living space, kitchen and bathroom are all highly functional without feeling crowded and the double French doors to the full patio seamlessly incorporate the typically perfect SB weather to infuse this property with an openness that I've found in very few vacation rentals. Quick communication with minimal intrusion, impeccably clean, and overall a great value.

The Scenic Studio was ideal … location close to everything yet peaceful, clean, spacious for a studio, views and the deck surrounding … ideal! We stayed 32 days at Jill's Place and lowed every day
It is a short drive to downtown and the beach. Two large French doors open up to the very large balcony. making the apartment feel bigger. The fully covered balcony has furniture for meals outside, as well as for just relaxing. The apartment has everything you need for cooking at home dinners. Parking is off the street in a very safe neighborhood. Can't go wrong with Jill's Place.

A Room With A View
This studio exceeded every expectation. It is comfortable, clean, and the porch is marvelous. The windows and french doors let in so much light. I enjoyed using my binoculars to look at the spectacular hillside Santa Barbara cemetery, bird sanctuary, zoo, ocean, and nighttime stars. So much is visible from up here, including gorgeous sunsets. In addition the bed is comfortable, the desk is outstanding, the neighbors are nice, and Jill is easy to communicate with. I look forward to returning!
