Montecito’s comfy Paradise Retreats beachside grandeur is summed up at Sea Steppe from the decor to the landscape. This home is centrally located where a 10-minute stroll in one direction lands you at Butterfly Beach and 10 minutes in the other is Coast Village Road ready for dinner and shopping.

This Mid-Century Modern two-story home consists of a spacious primary suite with two walk-in closets, a balcony, and a jacuzzi tub. There are two additional bedrooms and a bathroom, a kitchen that features a large Sub-Zero refrigerator and sitting area, a living room with an additional dining area, and a full laundry room. The most captivating element is the outdoor space that includes an outdoor dining area complete with a fountain, a separate fire pit, hot tub, and an outdoor shower.

PLEASE NOTE: Commonly shared areas with the neighboring property are the private gate entrance, driveway, walkways, and open backyard.

Awesome location

Lovely, quiet place in a great location. 11 mins to walk to the beach and lower Montecito. The kitchen was amazing and so well stocked it made cooking in a breeze.

Family Gathering

The numerous choices for outdoor seating and the amazing live plants and landscaping were fantastic. The plants were interesting, full of birds, and gave the place a sense of intimacy. The house was beautiful and the kithen had plenty of glasses, wine glasses, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc.We loved that the kitchen and master bedroom had high quality water filters for drinking water - very much appreciated.Everything was clean and lovely. The only thing that was not appreciated was the very VERY strong soapy-fake smell on the bed linens, that was impossible to avoid. Possibly from dryer sheets. Other than that, it was perfect in every way for a family gathering both inside and out.

Montecito Vacation

Absolutely loved this home in Montecito!

We loved the location! We walked to the town and rode cruisers to the beach, which you can also walk to. We went to the Santa Barbara Bowl three nights in a row. It is an amazing venue surrounded by nature. Will definitely come back again.

Beautiful Quiet Home in an Awesome Location

The home is clean and spacious. My daughter in a wheelchair had no problem maneuvering around the main level. The kitchen was well-stocked as described in other reviews. The multiple spaces allowed for adults and kids to hang out in separate areas. The large dining table was a bonus and was able to accommodate the two families who stayed as well as my sister’s family who visited us during our stay. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops easily as well as the beach.

My family and I stayed in this home when we were in town for our daughter's college graduation. It had all the amenities we wanted and the location was amazing. The outside space was so nice for our family to hang out together as well. We will definitely return.

Everything was wonderful

We could not have picked a better place for our family of 4 to spend a week in Montecito. The home was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and well stocked. The check-in was easy and the host was friendly and responsive. And location location location - 10 minute walk to the beach, a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Coast Village Road, and an easy drive to Santa Barbara. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

All summer we’ve been going to Santa Barbara... different Vrbo sometimes Bacara sometimes both. This property top to bottom was five stars. Like a cozy room in a museum with five star applicannces, bedding, cleanliness and location. The photos are great but house bigger better and cleaner in real life. We rented to have a small celebration... my wife and I stayed simultaneously at Bacara to give our guests the house. And us the hotel amenities we are used to .. honestly the second night my wife just wanted to stay in this cozy house over the ocean view at Bacara. I had to drag her out... best house I ever rented. Well worth the high price.

Perfect stay!

Gorgeous, comfortable home. We especially enjoyed viewing all the music concert posters. Kitchen was fully stocked, and beds were all so comfy. We look forward to returning in warmer weather!
