Pros: valet team was great. Great location. Pretty lobby Cons: very loud, super small (deceptively small) rooms, water temp inconsistent, housekeeping entered room without knocking 1 hour before check-out (with do not disturb sign on), small bathroom; can barely move in the room

Hotel Virginia Santa Barbara, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
The hotel was not full, we learned, but we drew Room 301 which is next to the elevator shaft. Needs some oil??? No need to count sheep - - they provide a “white noise” machine to drown out dozens of people who ride the elevator late and early.
