Hands down one of the most beautiful hotels I have every stayed at. The grounds are exceptionally well kept, the staff are super helpful and friendly, and the views are one of a kind. The steps to climb are steep but there are many staff available to help you carry your luggage. The room was small but it didn't matter because we much preferred to spend our time exploring the property. The dinner was delicious and we also loved swimming in the lake. I cannot preface enough that this hotel is a MUST stay when visiting Lake Atitlan, even if just for one night.

Beautiful property in a great location. Food had no flavor at all, and was very bland. Bring enoigh cash as they dont take card. If youre canadian, you have even less payment options. I tried exchanging usd to Guatemala currency, but they dont accept anything less than $20 bills.

Really exceptionnal location ! The lake can be your pool. Magical !! Only thing the isolation is not good. So next day it was not possible to have a nap. Other than that, be prepare to pay by cash.

Hotel was beautiful, however it is isolated. Has restaurant on site but otherwise you need to take a boat to all activities. Boats are easy and cheap, but inconvenient if you enjoy any sort of late dining or want to experience any night life. Views at this hotel are truly amazing but be prepared to hike up a lot of stairs. Our room did not have AC or a fan- it was able to cool down enough for us to sleep (in December) but would be weary to stay here during hotter summer months. Staff was friendly and helpful

This property was beautiful. The location was ideal and so easy to visit the little towns around the lake by public boat. You could make it anywhere around the laje in under 10 minutes. The staff was amazing, food was great, the views were stunning. Everything had so much character. We had the best time and we'd love to go back.

The most beautiful place! The landscaping is absolutely stunning and there are so many little private nooks to relax. The food is a bit bland and overpriced, we walked to Jaibalito for better ans cheaper food.

I loved staying at Casa del Mundo. I had a birthday to celebrate I requested to decorate a table for extra charge. I called them and they planned everything to perfection. A variety of flowers on table, candles and petals on the floors. So romantic! I am so satisfied with their service. Amazing views. Worth every penny I paid . Thank you to all Casa del Mundo Staff. I’ll definitely come back.

I fell in love with this property. It has the most amazing views and hammocks at your disposal. There’s so many amenities to enjoy and the food at the restaurant was amazing. Very convenient and the staff was my favorite part. They were very sweet and super helpful.
