The room looked clean but there was a weird smell to it. I can't pinpoint what it was. Staff is very nice. You can tell that it's an old building. Overall it's good for the price you pay and it's close to the Boardwalk

Hotel Solares
The rooms were dirty when we got in. The mini fridge was leaking. We had absolutely no body wash, shampoo or conditioner. The hallways smelled like cleaning solution and was way too strong but the rooms smelled bad.

The hotel is incredibly mediocre with very minimal to offer and a ton to deter. In the pros, the floor is hardwood and the service was fine. Motel Santa Cruz
The hotel was a minimal hotel good for an overnight stay. The management, staff and parking was all great! I'd recommend it for the budget and limited amenities.
