"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. The young lady at reception called the owner and the next day they gave us a better room with everything working. She even moved our bags she was very nice. We asked for two extra...

"The property is lovely, lots of flowers and a very nice pool and sun deck. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed. We had dinner there and were very surprised at the quality of the meal. Breakfast was very nice and the service was great. We recommend il Borgo!"

"As a very experienced traveler with hundreds and hundreds of hotel nights, I dare to say that this is a place that reaches the top ten of good hotel experiences. Fantastic family that runs a high-quality agriturismo with a view that takes your breath away. "Such a good little find. Secluded and a beautiful setting. Not in town so car needed. About 25 mins from Taormina and Naxos, stunning beach nearby. Room clean, plenty of hot water. Pool area lovely. Basic breakfast included. Would definatly return. "

"If you are looking for a high end resort that is on the beach and away from the busyness of the city this is your place! A spectacular resort on the edge of the Ionian with spectacular panoramic views of Mount Etna, Isola Bella and the sea. Free shuttles are also available from the resort if you would like to venture into Taormina city. The food however on the resort is not as spectacular as the resort itself. "

"My partner and I stayed at the Villa Belvedere for a week in August 2025. The Villa Belvedere is absolutely beautiful, set in stunning gardens overlooking the bay, a short walk to the centre of Taormina. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel’s interior is gorgeous and traditional. The rooms perfectly clean."

"Lovely hotel in the perfect location. Very walkable but far enough away from the main crowded street. The staff were excellent! They even helped us get a reservation that were struggling to get and brought hot water with lots of lemons and honey when my throat was bothering me. Breakfast was also a highlight!"
