If you have a young family, this is an ideal place to spend a holiday (it's lovely even if you don't, but much is geared towards children and there will be LOTS scampering around if you visit outside of term time).
This was our second trip in as many years and we have just returned utterly refreshed. Here was a typical day for us (that's mum & dad and two girls, aged 4 and 20 months)...
Up at 8 (kids slept a little later - result!)
Breakfast (huge selection, great breakfast room with lovely outdoor seating)
Quick trip to on-site park (trampoline, bouncy castle, swing, great climbing frame)
Pool or beach (C'an Picafort beach is a 15 minute walk, taking into account slow progress of meandering 4-year-old!)
Lunch (at beach or pool-side)
Back to pool or beach
Back to room to get ready for evening
Dinner at 6.30-7 (again, amazing selection)
Pirate disco (every night 8-8.45)
Bed (or stay up for adults' entertainment: singing, dancing, magic etc...)
Repeat
We hired a car for a couple of days for trips to Aqualand and Alcudia (a better-known destination on the same stretch of beach as C'an Picafort though not as convenient for lunch etc) which can be a good way to break up the trip.
A few things to note: The vast majority of guests are German, British and, to a lesser extent, Dutch. The girls loved being around different languages.
The cleanliness is second to none. If you're up early, you'll glimpse an army of people cleaning the entire resort.
Overall: fantastic
