"We had a great time staying in this amazing house. The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. The house is very spacious, so the 6 of us were able to spread out. It is situated on the edge of the village, so very quiet, and with great views over the countryside. "Traveling from Valencia to Barcelona we decided two nights on the Montserrat mountain would be an adventure. It was. Pere did an excellent job in making us feel as guests. Take advice - park in the parking lot and don't go down any unknown streets. Confirm eating options as many restaurants were closed. The entire town is very friendly and an easy walk to the train for the monastery. Children school is close so you will hear them before 9:00 AM. Thank you."

"Incredible experience from the very beginning. Stayed at Frederick's and Magda's house for two nights with my 20 year old son. The drive up the mountain dirt road from Figaro gave us a thrill and a challenge for our rented Opel Corsa, but it was so worth it! If you're using GPS make sure you navigate to the farm from El Garriga - a little bit longer but a much better road and a lot kinder on your vehicle. Frederick and Magda were absolutely fabulous hosts and treated us like part of the family....
