"Great property. Tucked away just out of town, super location.
Lovely pool and near places to visit for day trips.
Manuel was a really attentive, friendly and responsive host.
Thank you.

"Fantastic pre-arrival communication from owner Gina, and a warm welcome when eventually reaching this idyllic place.
Note that the location-pin shown on Google Maps is not accurate. It appears to show the accommodation to be in an urban area - it's not - it's very remote!
So ignore any booking sites that state that there's a bar or shop within 100m - there really isn't!
But the remote location is the main attraction of this place.
The tranquility and views are second to none, and well worth the short trek up the rural track.
The cabin (resembling a gypsy caravan) is comfortable and very well equipped, and is impressively insulated from the sun. I was expecting it to be an oven (August temperatures in the high thirties) but it was surprisingly cool. There is an a/c unit, but I rarely needed to use it.
While some of the eco equipment may not be what some are used to, it all works just fine, and the quirkiness is part of the charm.
There's a hot tub next to a spacious covered pergola with plenty of seating, plus loads of outdoor cooking facilities (including a BBQ and a pizza oven) - so it's a great place for a small group to really get away from it all for an alfresco break."
Historic patrician country house with exceptional location
10/10 Excellent
"If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees."
"This property sits overlooking a lake tucked into a mountain. Small but very nice. Staff are all helpful and accommodating.
Only downside is if you have a room on the second floor it’s directly under the dinning area and can be a little noisy during dinner. "
"Our third visit, and our stay was as special as both previous ones. Peacefulness, remoteness, spotlessly clean room, very efficient A//C, light comfy lounge area. The swimming pool was much appreciated, as was the poolside bar (weekends) and the delicious food from the Oromana restaurant - open Monday - Saturday evenings and weekend lunchtimes. But... what makes this hotel exceptional is it's staff. Waiting staff, housekeeping, behind the scenes staff we never met, and reception staff were polite and professional. Reception staff in particular were helpful, organising taxis, restaurant bookings and drinks durung the day when the bar wasn't manned. All the reception staff worked very hard, and went above and beyond to fulfil our requests. But one gentleman stood out. Thankyou Fran for taking time to make us feel extra special - always a smile, handshake, advice on festivals we may enjoy another year and he produced an iron and extra coat hangers in a flash. He made us feel we were friends as well as guests. Thank you Fran, for your genuine wishes that we had a good stay at The Oromana."
"This is a quaint little hotel.Although the room is small, we had a king bed
. It was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is very clean. I love the ambiance. We got a continental breakfast. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it

"The grounds of this property are beautiful and well kept. I felt like there could have been more information provided about the history of the buildings and location. The room was clean and decent but there was only one outlet on each side of the bed which had the bedside lamps plugged in so you had to choose between charging devices or a lamp (not the end of the world) the breakfast was lovely and we ate at the restaurant one of our two nights . The food was decent but not anything special. The location of the hotel is gorgeous and so much to do within a 10-15 minute drive.
My only true complaint would be that the mattress was old and uncomfortable. If they upgrade that and possibly open a bar/lounge in the area they have appointed for it, as well as upgrade their existing food choices for the restaurant it would be a special place.
Definitely not disappointed with my stay"
