The hotel is really nice and the room very spacious, the beds mattress is really really hard which makes it very uncomfortable, breakfast was good but could have more options, the area around the hotel for 3 blocks is very very dirty and with lots of homeless people not nice at all to walk. The swimming pool and hotel installations are very nice looking and clean

Beautiful oasis in the cente of Santa Marta

Lovely room with two balconies. Very comfortable and lovely. Excellent air con and WiFi. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Gorgeous pool area. Location in the centre four minutes from the sea.

The hotel is lovely with great facilities and friendly staff. As with lots of Santa Marta great care is required when leaving the hotel after 7.30pm, although i didn’t see or experience any issues as used taxis to get around.

Terrific team and super helpful. We took taxis to leave the hotel as the street is not pleasant. Kitchen is good, spa services are excellent and the front desk staff were great about helping us find our way around. I would stay there again.

First time staying at Hotel Boutique Casa Carolina and the staff is fantastic and friendly. The property has some of the best rooms and overall aesthetics I have ever stayed at in a hotel. Additionally, the breakfast and dinner and bar are all convenient and exceptional.

Great stay

Nice hotel in the old town with a historical look and feel. Room was very clean, wifi worked well, breakfast was good and everyone tried to make my stay memorable, even preparing me a sandwich for breakfast when I had a tour that started before the breakfast time. The rooms have a rustic feel (not modern), in line with the style of the hotel. The area around the hotel looks quite run down though, it only starts getting better 2 blocks away. Restaurant was good and accommodating.

Hotel with personality

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Great location in the historic senter. Close to restaurants, shoping and the beach. The service at the hotel was great. They speak english. We had suit. Comfortable beds, different pillows witch is great. Had payed for a room with breakfast. You could select different dishes from a menue. Delishes. Can recomend this hotel.

The hotel was excellent. It is clean and centrally located. The staff was super helpful, and many spoke English. We got in late our first night and they helped us order food from a local restaurant that did delivery. Luz at the restaurant was great and made excellent cocktails and smoothies, which we enjoyed while we were there.

Amazing hotel. Very beautifully laid out, attention to detail is exceptionnal in the design. Staff is professional, helpful and polite. Pools and spas feel nice, lots of spots outside the room to just rest and enjoy. Plants everywhere make for a great natural ambiance. The walk from the most busy area can feel a bit sketchy at night but we did it (2 women) without any problem. If you were uncomfortable, it's a quick and cheap cab ride. Apart from that, it's a good five stars from me!

Excellent hotel and staff!

Great hotel! Excellent staff and hotel at a reasonable price. The three pools and courtyards are beautiful. Easy walking distance to the Malecon and other places to visit in the city center The neighborhood is relatively safe but can be a littly sketchy at night. From the outside the hotel looks modest but it's beautiful upon entering. Best breakfast I've had in many trips to South America. Highly recommend.

I love the facilities. I was not so crazy about the surrounding area. You have to walk about 10 min to get to the plaza and the area that is more active. This city has a great deal of vacant commercial properties and folks hanging out. During the evening I suggest you take a cab to enhance your safety.

Beautiful hotel with clean, well-designed rooms. Both diner and breakfast were high-quality. Helpful service. We loved the different pool options, including rooftop hot tub. We were approached in a slightly threatening manner by individuals in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, who then began fighting amongst themselves. The hotel itself felt very secure, and we never felt unsafe on the hotel premises.

If you are only looking for beauty inside and excellent service, this is the hotel, the staff were amazing,food excellent,rooms are clean and pretty .however around they are plenty drug addicts ,homeless,and dirt but it’s close the Bahia and beautiful vintage buildings.
