"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects.
That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Amazing place, incredible service and wonderful staff. Not a typical hotel stay. It’s remote and on its own incredible property which makes it special. The staff is always available for your needs, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and food was delicious. Extremely satisfied with my stay. "

Fabulous Ocean View, Walking Distance to the Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Spectacular view of the ocean from the bluff. Easy access in and out of the property. Felt very secure with the gate that we were given access to upon arrival. Sherry was great and very communicative"
Private, spacious, well-equipped & luxurious retreat. Perfect for large groups.

"10 out of 10! This house is even better in person than it is in the photos. It was a great place for our family of 14 to spend a magical vacation together. The house is nestled in the jungle and it feels wonderfully secluded, yet it’s just a 5 minute drive to the town and a lovely beach. The zero edge pool is quite large and has a large shallow end which is perfect for small children and a substantial regular depth end as well. The home beautifully appointed and has all the practical amenities you want including lots of games, books, pool and beach toys, and a well equipped kitchen. An added bonus is the amazing howler monkeys that live in the trees surrounding the house. They provided endless entertainment for all of us. Our host Sue was incredibly gracious and immediately responsive to any questions we had and once on site Mauricio and Leo couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. I highly recommend Casa Mesakeca."
"Such a great location and wonderful spot! My husband and I loved the cleanliness, spacious room (and AC!) and friendly and helpful front staff.
Breakfast was good although options seemed a bit limited and the wait staff was not friendly. Also just a note that it can get really loud if you stay over a Friday or weekend as there are parties in town and it is situated on the central road."
"The pool and property were excellent, we spent an equal amount of time at the hotel and the beach. The one of the mattresses were very hard but despite that we would come back again."
Luxury by the Beach - Great for Families or Multiple Couples
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home near the beach in Costa Rica. The location was excellent—close enough to easily walk to the beach. Nearby restaurants and plenty of outdoor activities. The house was very peaceful and private. The house was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the owners take great pride in keeping the property in excellent condition. What truly made our experience special was the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and eager to help with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again on a future trip to Costa Rica."
"This hotel is peaceful and perfect for a couples vacation. The housekeeping wasn’t really cleaning for example our sheets became dirty instead of them changing the sheets they made the bed up with the exact sheet on opposite side, they left the garbage and the cups of alcohol that were left on the mini fridge. Other than that the property is amazing food is amazing bartenders will have those drinks coming. It wasn’t to crowded as it is a small all inclusive resort. I will definitely be staying there again."
Your Dream Costa Rica Villa - Ocean View Lap Pool - Private Chef-Secret Beach
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing property with an amazing view and location. All expectations were exceeded. What puts this property above others is the caretaker. The caretaker was absolutely fantastic and made our trip more enjoyable than expected. She made amazing meals, was super friendly and was super helpful when planning our daily activities.
Thank you"
