"The furnishings were even worse than described. She used cutlery with wooden handles, which smelled so disgusting that we concluded there was already mold in it. "The hotel is beachfront which is great. Simply cross the street and jump in the ocean! The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever seen at a hotel and actually approaches cruise ship level bases on variety and quality. Don't miss out. Walk left toward the marina for vendors and street food or right if you are looking for other bar/restaurant options. Enclosed garage car parking is available a few short blocks away for an extra fee if you need it. Great place...stay here if you get the chance, and visit the nearby Cuba Cafe for an authentic experience!!"

"Great hotel to stay in with the family. Staff were very helpful and friendly, in contrast to staff at one of the neighbouring hotels that our other family member was staying at. The pool was nice and there were activities for young children to keep them occupied whilst the adults lounge by/in the pool. Buffet dinner was good with a nice variety of dishes that were regularly replenished as was the buffet breakfast. Our travel group was spread out over a few of the hotels that are in the same area so we were able to compare the different hotels and this hotel stood out above the others in terms of staff and facilities. Would highly recommend."

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a room with an ocean view and it was just wonderful. We used our balcony in the morning, late afternoon and every evening. It was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, however the lines were usually long to talk to someone at the front desk. The location was perfect. Very close to the train station and so many shops, restaurants and pubs. We would definitely come back to Santa Susanna and stay here again!"

"Lovely stay give stars. Hotel is equipped with a luggage room and showers, so very convient. It was quite a walk from the strain station when loaded with baggages, but the view was good. Very close to the beach. Staff at the bar was super friendly. Good ambience at the evening shows. I enjoyed the evening buffets very much. However the morning coffee from the machine was awful, please upgrade that if you can."
