"it was lovely, very clean and big enough for a night, the only suggestion would be for the apartment to provide some coffee and milk or tea to ge able to make in the morning but it was really nice. "

"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...

"Perfectly fine, minimalist aparthotel. Quiet (apart from the traffic on the main road) and within easy walking distance of Valle Real station and the Maliaño suburb of Santander. Will stay again if in the area."

"Apartment smelled of smoke, washing machine door broken, no cooker , beds uncomfortable very very hard like sleeping on floor. Towel change once a week, no cleaning , cutlery- we had to buy a knife as theirs blunt. Surroundings of building dirty , broken pipes, does not look like the picture. Other hotel - gym dirty and only few equipment , need a car to drive up to it. Very very basic overall. Reception not there on weekends and one day in the week."

"Excellent property. Only drawback would be you can hear upstairs neighbors. Moving chairs, doing laundry, people talking, even dogs crying. Lovely town, easily walkable. "

"Muy mala limpieza, esperaba un apartamento como el de las fotos con una habitación y no, se trataba de un estudio con todo en la misma dependencia, literas, cocina, sala. El sofá estaba viejisimo daba pena, los colchones se hundian en el centro y no se podía descansar por las noches. La atención por parte de recepción muy buena, la lavadora no iba y pronto nos cambiaron a otro de las mismas características pero la limpieza seguía estando igual de mal, y los colchones también aunque por lo menos...

"When we arrived (girlfriend and 4 year old daughter), we were greeted by friendly staff which was great and at first glance the room/hotel was also great. There were a few let downs but we did not argue/complain as the cost was relatively cheap and we are generally easy going people. Im afraid the worst bit for us was the beds & pillows - they were extremely firm and did not give a good night sleep at all. I hate to say but towards the end of the holiday, I dreaded going to bed. "The hosts were fantastic, they responded to queries quickly and were really helpful. They also gave us produce from their garden including delicious green peppers and tomatoes. The house itself needs some updating, but it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was perfect for a splash about on hot afternoons. We had a lovely holiday exploring the coast, the Picos de Europa and sampling local cuisine. The location was good for getting out and about by car."
