"Adega Velha was a perfect place for the two of us while we explored Pico. Although it is a very small house, it was impeccably clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. "We enjoyed the three days we stayed at Casa Baía de Feteira. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Note Google maps does not take you to the driveway when using the “directions” feature within the vrbo app but rather a nearby location. This was easily and quickly corrected by a note to the host. " This very old farm house has been tastefully renovated by Miguel, and is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The view from within the Terra Alta house across to St Georges and of the September sunrise is breathtaking and the nearby harbour of Santo Amaro is a real gem. "We loved this Adega and were so sad to leave! The house is lovely and well appointed. It is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the waves from the porch. We really appreciated the washer and dryer! There is a nearby natural pool with bathroom and shower facilities that we had to ourselves. About 1 mile down the road is a little store that manages to stock anything you could want. We went each morning for coffee and pastry that we enjoyed with a view of the ocean. Pico is small enough that this location worked very well for exploring the island. "

It was a short walk down to the natural swimming pool - a great place to enjoy the afternoon after a hike. We would definitely recommend this house. "This property is in a spectacular location overlooking the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. You have to coordinate the resorts ATV transportation but it's we'll with the effort. This is a perfect place to escape so stay at least a few days if not more. You should stop at the grocery store and be fully stocked for meals although you're greeted with homemade bread, local cheese and the owners produced wine. "

"The location was beautiful and the host was very friendly. The apartment was clean and well stocked; however, we booked this location to sleep and to shower and both experiences were sub par. The bed is so hard, it offers little comfort after climbing Mt. Pico. The shower set up is odd, splashing water all over the toilet and provided toilet paper. There was no a/c as advertised and we couldn't locate the washer; however, we didn't look hard. All in all the place was nice, but the bed was the worst we experienced in all of our travels. We're paying for it today. "
