I stayed in one of the Grand Studio Suites. It was nice and comfortable because of the size. Location is good having the Supermercado National just a few steps from the hotel lobby. While I was there, much construction was happening in the street along the hotel so noise was excessive beginning early morning but when they finish that should not be a problem. Also, because my room was a corner room I had noise at night until about 2:30 am. If you can tolerate the late night noise, the location was great and I had a view looking down on El Conde. I'd stay there again when construction is done. I was in Room 208 and it was fine except the cords to open and close the curtains could use some maintenance, but the room had LOTS of windows which was nice!!!

I always stay at this property while visiting Santo Domingo in zone colonial it’s close to everything. The hotel is basic you have all the necessities that you need the rooms are nice spacious and clean however sine my last few stays I’ve noticed a problem with roaches and it’s very bad outside of that the staff is very friendly helpful and nice.. I do recommend that they should spray the lobby check in area to make it smell clean and fresh since the overnight staff sleeps down in that area!
