I liked that the hotel was in walking distance to Parque Colon, and there are many dining options in the area. The staff members (front desk staff, custodians, and breakfast staff) were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The room looked exactly as what was shown online. Great experience here! I will definitely stay there again if I return to the DR for vacation.
Great Gem in Zona Colonial near lots of stores and restaurants. Places not to close to visit. Taxi or Uber is available. The staff and owner were friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again. P.S. it’s in the middle of all the hussle and bustle of the city so it is a little loud. My wife and I are used to it so we loved it!
I loved the customer service, they won my heart. Everyone is happy to help even with the language barrier.
i will give then 100 points

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was a very good experience because the staff working there. They are very attentionate and helpful to organize your days and activities. Tryingti make you happy is their main goal! The Day manager is service woman who understand her task and goes beyong the expected. I have her the full crédit for the satisfaction that I had during my stay for a twelve Day period. The Price is affordable. The only problem, they took the breakfast from the package. Which is unfortunate.
Really nice place for the price. The only thing difficult was parking. Two doors down is a parking garage, but if you can’t find parking they will still charge you 50 pesos which is like 1 dollar. The parking garage charges you 1 dollar an hour no matter what. I am cheap so I found parking on the street luckily for free. This place is located right at the tourist area. Very close to every thing. I definitely recommend it if you want a quality bedroom at a decent price next to everything
I reserved this hotel last minute and was a bit weary about it because the price was too good to be true, but it was in the colonial zone so I took my chances. I was proven wrong. I recommend staying here it’s within walking distance of many colonial zone tourist spots. I felt very safe. There were police officers at every corner and around the colonial zone. This hotel provide breakfast vouchers for all the days you’re staying include the morning you’re checking out. There’s a $50 deposit but that’s really about it. Lovely at the front desk was… lovely (pun not intended) and very kind. Housekeeping were also great. The rooms were clean and had AC. All the basic amenities one would need, this hotel has it. I really appreciate the staff and will miss Santo Domingo and its people. But if one day I were to return, I would definitely be staying here again.
I was surprised for the charging of a deposit above the price of my staying, hopefully I managed to solve it with a card; also the information about not having breakfast is not clear, yet you can find on the internet that there used to be a voucher, however there is nothing
The hotel was good and the staff friendly. The area is convenient to walk close to the bars, restaurants, and museums, but the only complaint I have there is not staff to help you to bring your luggage upstairs and downstairs and there are long stairs to claim. I suggest they should have a leat one person that assist you with your suitcases like ike other hotels I have stayed before...

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel gets a two because of the lack of soundproofed rooms (it’s zona colonial, it’s crazy noisy but this was extra), the ac kept turning off every 5 minutes, there are a lot of dangerous elements around the place such as badly done electricity (could explain the ac going off). Risks of being electrocuted in the bathroom due to this. Oh and there’s no elevator, and a lot of stairs!!
