This hotel is located in a really nice and safe area of the Zona Colonial. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They even have a nice little bar on-site, which was perfect for a relaxing drink. Just a heads-up for future travelers: there is no elevator, only stairs, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility needs. Overall, a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at El Mosquito Zona Colonial. The room was clean, and the staff were very accommodating, especially since we do not speak Spanish. Breakfast was simple but really good, and the bar and restaurant are beautiful. It is definitely worth having a meal or a few drinks there. Everything we tried was delicious, and the cocktails were great. Daniel, who served us at breakfast, was especially lovely. She was very pleasant, welcoming, and provided wonderful service. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return.

The decor and charm of El Mosquito are a big draw. The location is fantastic. The staff there are very professional and helpful. I really enjoyed my room. The pillows and bed were comfortable. Everything functioned well. There was a dehumidifier that needed emptying every day. It overflowed the first night. I'd say it may be a good idea to explain to guests or else staff should be emptying it. I knew how so it wasn't a big deal, but I didn't even notice it until I stepped in water in the middle of the night. A lovely place otherwise!!! I loved it.

Room: The air conditioning was not working properly, and I found a dead cockroach under the bed. The property also looks a little dated and could use some updating. Staff: The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. Breakfast: The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of options. Bar: The bar had a nice ambience and was a pleasant place to relax.
