"Hotel was upscale with very nice terrace rooms. They offered good dinning choices for breakfast lunch and dinner if you chose to stay on. The are right in the centre of the old town which offers many dinning options on all budgets. The hotel is hard to find as the old town is situated behind barriers which requires a QR code to enter which is supplied by the hotel an hour prior to arrival. But if you blink near the entrance it’s another 20 minute drive to go around again."

"Although we arrived a little late the staff was more than willing to help us. The location is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to restaurants and right by the trails (it's still quite a walk) to the National Palace and Moorish Castle. Our room opened up to the street so there was quite a bit of street noise, but I didn't mind."

"Beautiful views from our balcony! Walkable to downtown, many restaurants and pastry shops, and to the bus stops. We had to leave the hotel early one morning for a sight seeing tour. They provided us a sack of several breakfast items the afternoon before the tour that we were able to eat early in the morning. It was so kind of them and so appreciated. We grabbed some lunch items to go on our last day there and ate an early lunch on our balcony right before we checked out at noon. Would highly recommend this charming and personable hotel!"

"I felt safe as a solo female traveler in 18C. The street is quite dark so be mindful after dark if that worries you. Sintra is a sleepy town after the tourists leave. The apartment was very clean and accurate to the listing. There was mold in the bathroom but this was mentioned in the reviews prior to booking and it did not bother me much for two days. It is a basement apartment but there is a lovely view from the living area. Check in was smooth and the communication was perfect. Also the location was incredible. Just a minute walk to the restaurants and 5-10 minutes to the castle trails and entrances."

"Lovely spot, close to everything. We had the Premium Studio on the lower level so some bumpy, tiled road and stairs if you need to consider luggage (hard to avoid the tiled roads and sidewalks in Portugal, lol, but it wouldn’t be as charming without them!) Not much natural lighting or view, but we didn’t mind that as we spent plenty of time outside and I expected that when I chose this particular room (I’m sure upper levels had better view). Lovely shower with rainfall shower and alternate, smaller shower head. We only availed of the free breakfast on one day as we were on the go earlier than opening time, but it was good and nice variety. They did kindly offer to pack us a breakfast take-away for our early departure on our last day (although we declined). All in all, loved the place and would definitely stay again!"

"We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Private parking is easy, beautiful grounds and hotel which used to be an aristocratic residence. A bit of faded grandeur in places but still retaining a lot of elegance. There is a pool too. Staff friendly and helpful. Well located for the main Sintra sights, walk to Nat’l Palace and several good restaurants/cafes."
