"We decided to do a last minute, one night “staycation” from Denver and didn’t want to spend a million dollars. Found this place in Keystone and thought it could go either way but omg we LOVED this Lodge! There is a river right behind the rooms that was wonderful to walk both in the evening and morning. It was on a small pond and sitting outside with a cocktail was so nice. I’m always reading reviews to see how the bedding is and the mattresses and pillows were perfect!! Room was clean and amenities were great. They had 2 water jugs already filled and waiting in our rooms, so we didn’t have to pay for bottles, which I appreciated. What I have to say that I liked the most was the way they had pet stays organized. We brought our older guy and they had all of the dog friendly rooms on the bottom floor with quick patio access to the outside. As someone who doesn’t love listening to other peoples dogs bark in a hotel room, i felt this was so kind to all the other guests without pets. Bonus- We didn’t notice any barking dogs! I will DEFINITELY stay here again, and for a longer stay next time for sure!!!"

"Stayed as a party of four and I, personally, felt the unit was pretty dated. The flooring (carpet in particular) was not in very good shape! The shower liner was very stained and I felt it was odd that it would be used as at home, I change them frequently as they are very disposable. Also, being on the “ground floor” meant accessing unit by going down three flights of steps and leaving meant going up three flights of steps to parking lot. Not the best case scenario! That being said….the view is wonderful! Lots of hot water for dishes and showers! Verrrrry comfortable beds! Kitchen was decent but very narrow and the icemaker seemed not to keep up making ice. First world problems! Loll. The price was very reasonable so I was super happy because I was in Summit county with a place that had an amazing view!"

"Excellent location on the main street of Frisco. Surprisingly quiet despite the construction project across the street! Dated style, but everything worked in the room. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Better than average breakfast. Definitely would stay here again, as Frisco is convenient location to the Rockies just west of Denver."
