AGRIELIA VILLA FAMILY - FRIENDLY VILLA IN HERAKLION CRETE

"This is an absolutely charming house bursting with character but at the same time very practical to live in. It is as pretty as the photographs suggest. There has obviously been careful thought as to what visitors would need in the house to make the stay enjoyable.We found it to be quiet with just the normal life of a village going on around us. In particular we loved the completely private pool with a lovely view, and the front courtyard, which ensured there was always somewhere sunny or shady, depending on your needs.Stelios was particularly helpful with recommendations both before and during our visit.It is quite possible with a car to visit as far west as Rethimno, East to Agios Nikolaos (we liked Kritsa with it's crafts and frescoes) and as far south as Phaestos, which I preferred to Knossos as it was so much more atmospheric.Heraklion itself is an easy 25 minute drive and the port carparks always had spaces, were inexpensive, and an easy walk to the old town and fantastic museum.All in all a lovely base to visit that part of Crete."

"Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung direkt am MeerWir waren mit der Ferienwohnung rundum zufrieden. Sie ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders toll ist die Lage: Das Meer ist keine 20 Meter entfernt und eignet sich direkt vor der Unterkunft hervorragend zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln.Ein weiteres Highlight unserer Reise, der Listis Beach, ist mit dem Auto in weniger als 15 Minuten erreichbar.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gemeinsame Essen mit unseren Gastgebern Eleni und Kostas, die extra für uns gekocht haben. Das war eine sehr schöne und persönliche Erfahrung, an die wir uns gerne zurückerinnern werden.Bei Fragen oder Problemen war unsere Gastgeberin jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Auch für Familien mit Kindern ist die Wohnung bestens geeignet – es gibt Spielzeug und sogar ein separates Kinderzimmer.Alles in allem war es für uns ein rundum gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen."

"Maison dans un petit village, avec tous les équipements nécessaires.Piscine bien agréable quand il fait chaud et barbecue tout neuf. Plutôt 5 couchages que 6 car le dernier est un canapé non convertible dans la chambre à 3 lits. Stationnement de la voiture dans la rue à l’extérieur devant la grille."

"What an incredible setting! Gorgeous views and privacy. The pool, breakfast and wifi were fantastic during our stay. Access to the nearby village was a great perk to experience a low-key, charming area with wonderful restaurants."

"We asked for a quiet room and even though the hotel didn't reply, we were put in very quiet room. The only thing I would change would be to have a mattress protector under the sheet and a bigger top sheet and blanket as it was a bit small. The room was immaculate. "

"The kitchen and bathroom were outdated. Lots of bugs on porch that were coming into room and vent in bathroom. Mattresses to twin beds pushed into one were very hard. Pool was very clean. Plenty of parking across busy street onto beach. Staff was nice."
