Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Avoid this place at all costs, unless your definition of “luxury” is:
- a street level converted garage, without any view, where you will have to keep your curtains closed at all times, lest everyone walking by looks in;
- waking up to the smell of burned oil, fried eggs or onions, from the kitchen of the upstairs restaurant;
- trespassing through two private properties to make it to the hotel for all services normally expected at a “luxury” accommodation, such as the pool and breakfast;
- walls full of dead mosquitos, holes on the ceiling, poorly installed plumbing and lighting;
- unclean rooms, with dirty floors, dead bugs and laundry not removed from the room;
- staying awake all night due to the non-stop sound of cars bumping on the rain drain right outside the room;
- missing basic amenities, such as clothes hangers and a safe;
- a room left unlocked after having been “cleaned”, while there’s no safe and while being street level, aka a room open to anyone walking by!
The pictures shown of the pool, restaurant and breakfast bar are NOT of this location; their use is misleading.
Not luxury, not worth the outrageous price charged, and not honest in dealing with clients. -5 stars.
