"Sept. 12, 2,026 The room and common areas at the Comfort Inn were very clean and updated. The heat- A/C unit worked well while I was there. It kept the set temperature. I used heat 1 night and A/C the other two nights. The refrigerator worked excellent. The food was cold in the morning when I opened the door. The bed was quite comfortable and soft with plenty of pillows. The cable tv package worked. But I did not watch much TV while in the room. The bathroom was alright. But the sink faucet was not installed right. The faucet was set too close to the back of the sink. Water kept backing up on the countertop when turned on. The tub enclosure was newer with built in shelves. One con with the shower. Is the water pressure being low. So, rinsing off took longer. One plus in the bathroom is there was a built-in nightlight. So, there was light when I got up in the middle of the night and walked in. The best amenity was the full continental breakfast. There was a large selection of everything breakfast set up. In a dining room each morning. That alone is a real incentive to stay there. Many hotels don't offer this. This location was walkable to a Walmart and a Lowes store. I will book a room at this Inn, if I am in the area again."
"Wow, what a wonderful stay at the Adelphi Hotel! We reserved a King Luxe Room last minute as our reservation at another hotel was cancelled. The room was beautiful with top of the line amenities - heated bathroom floor, Toto Toilet, and automatic drapes and lights. The thoughtful complimentary treats was an unexpected surprise - chocolate chip cookies with sea salt left on a small plate by the bed, beverages in the mini fridge including Prosecco and local beer, and Saratoga chips. There were only a few downsides to our stay. We had a patio view, which highlighted patio furniture and a gas tank, so not really a stunning view. Also the dogs in an apartment across the patio was especially hilarious, since we thought they were statues at first! Wasn’t really crazy about the in your face sales pitch for their luxury condos. And while the room was beautiful and rather clean, there was a huge spiderweb on the chandelier, which if you are a property boasting about cleanliness and hospitality, I would not be remiss to grab a ceiling fan duster and clean up that chandelier. Now onto the in room dining. Dinner was great. We had the lobster dumplings, wedge salad and grilled chicken sandwich. It’s a shame that for a hotel that wants to serve your every need there was no kids menu. Not many kid friendly option on the menu either so we had to improvise with the chicken sandwich. Breakfast was lack luster. Buttermilk pancakes were eh. Apple oatmeal - you should take that off the menu."
"The staff was friendly and helpful. the first room had a problem with the TV so they gave us a free upgrade. maintenance guy was super, when he figured out it was a wiring problem he made sure we got the upgrade. overall A rating and the location is amazingly convenient! Parking was an issue as we were not told about the 15.00$ extra charge for parking. We were told when we could not find a spot to park. That we could park in the parking garage. My problem was if we got back late we would of had no idea where to park. We ended up on the street for free and we asked for a refund which they did give a refund. I feel if parking in your lot we should not be charged, Other than parking it was a great location on trolly line and rooms were clean, Would stay again and would recommend it to others."
"My husband and I stayed here after spending a day at the horse track. We just needed one night so we wouldn't have to drive home. We were pleasantly surprised how charming and convenient this place was. And not to mention the price was more than reasonable for staying right on the lake. We stayed in the Josephine room and it was comfortable and cozy. Nicely decorated as well. Easly self check-in. The only downside was you could hear guests in other rooms, especially above us. We ate outside on the patio at the attached tavern, The food was good and the staff was friendly. There was also live band playing outside which was a nice surprise. We tried the ice cream shop on the property as well. We enjoyed our night "in" and were thankful we didn't have to drive anywhere else. Great location."
"We had a great stay at Circular Manor B&B. Dieter & Michele are incredible hosts. The rooms are historic and the location is perfect. Walking distance to both downtown Saratoga as well as the racetrack. The prepared breakfast was better than any restaurant and eating on the outdoor porch was a perfect setting. I would highly recommend a stay of any length at Circular Manor, you can’t go wrong"
