"Room needed updates; request for water and beer in room needed to be requested daily, which we sometimes never got water for day; ac unit broke twice- no ac to sleep; pool bar ran out of drinks on Sunday; flies at pool bar was overwhelming; toilet clogged first day there; food was below average; staff was great- welcoming and friendly. Beach was great- no rush to grab chairs.. if looking to hub to travel Costa Rica- this is place; if looking for pampering vacation- find somewhere else."

"The staff for the most part were amazing. They were very helpful and nice. The property was pretty clean as well. I feel as if it is pretty outdated which made it less comfortable than it should have been. I know all inclusives aren’t known for their food but the food here was especially terrible. The swim-up bar is cool in theory but it was small in retrospect to everything else and very overcrowded. It took a long time to get service. Had it not been for the cleanliness and the amazing staff I would’ve rated this resort a 1/5"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bosque Del Mar. Our Oceanfront room was wonderful with all the amenities needed--large room, separate sitting area and lovely balcony to view Playa Hermosa. The staff were also very accommodating. Our only complaint is that the beach seating is removed each day between 6 and 7pm. We would have appreciated the opportunity to continue to enjoy the beach with a place to sit in the evening. One suggestion: As there is no gift shop in the hotel or nearby, it would be helpful to have some incidentals for purchase when travelers forget to bring items from home; such as, sun screen and bug spray."

"We stayed in the Ron Ron suite. Wonderful views. Great food and service at the restaurant. Hotel was difficult to find since it was the evening. The viewing platform had great views but lots of bugs and ants up there. "
