Amazing views, wonderful house, great location

We'd stay here again for sure. The house is great. New, modern, spacious. The pool and hot tub were very nice with breathtaking views from them and the entire front of the house. Short walk downhill to the beach, although parking at the beach was also very easy.

Incredibly special

I could not say enough positive words about this home! We had truly the best time at Casa Timlin - everything was wonderful - beds comfortable, great bathrooms, perfect pool and deck, the most stunning views and sunsets you can imagine. On top of that, the hosts Tim, housekeeper Reyna and her husband, and Ian the activities concierge were always responsive, caring and recommended amazing places to see during our stay while being thoughtful about our children’s ages and what would be a good fit.We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Timlin! The house was spotless, the view was amazing and the location was perfect. Communication with Tim was always quick and helpful. Reyna made us delicious meals and took great care of us during our visit. She was a extra bonus during stay! Peaceful paradise

Wonderful experience at Casa Timlin! Tim was an excellent host and Ian very helpful with activities. Reyna was always very sweet and helpful. Communication was great all the way around, and the property certainly spoke for itself. Amazing house with spectacular views!

We stayed at Casa Timlin during spring break 2025. The house is gorgeous with tons of modern amenities and priceless views of the bay. Tim, Ian and Reyna went out of their way to make us feel at absolutely on vacation. Ian knows lots of people and was able to get us a beautiful boat for the next day! We would absolutely return to this lovely home.

Fabulous Views

The Timlin house delivered on its promises! The house is beautifully situated in a great location. You can walk to great restaurants and Coco beach. The house has everything you need from towels to grill to amazing views! Just loved waking up to those views over a cup of coffee and winding down for the evening with a glass of wine! Our family had a fantastic vacation!

Totally Spoiled!

First, the house was amazing!!! It sits up on a hill for amazing views/sunsets but is close enough to the beach and town to walk each day. Yes, there is a "slight hill" but it was great for walking off the food. Everything you can imagine is provided from soap, hair dryer, to pool toys and beach chairs. We watched the sunset in the evening and listened to howler monkeys in the morning. Reyna made sure everything was immaculate and each day we returned from our activities, the house was freshly cleaned (We felt guilty). Ian put up with our procrastination and set up our tours after we arrived and managed to book us on everything we wanted. Can't imagine staying anywhere else after this house. Thank you so much for everything!

Amazing

We had four fantastic nights at Casa Timlin. The house is gorgeous, spotless, and quiet. Chilling in the endless pool and watching the sunsets and evening storms was incredible. It’s an easy stroll down to the beach and lots to explore. Coco Beach is a fun place to walk around with plenty of great restaurants. Tim is a great host and took excellent care of us during our stay. Highly recommend staying here! We hope to be back soon.

Fantastic and comfortable

My family had the opportunity to stay at Casa Timlin and what a great choice. The views are spectacular and just as pictured. The location is super convenient, 5 minutes to everything, tourist shops, grocery, bars, etc. the house is cutting edge and very safe. Tim is a great host and we definitely made a friend in Costa Rica. Don’t overlook this home, you will be missing out if you do!

Lifetime of memories at Timlin

We spent a week with our two adult children in Playa de Coco (April 24) and had one of our best vacations at Timlin. Tim and his staff were attentive to every need and detail from time of booking through our departure. Not only was the villa one of the beast we've ever stayed, but their concierge services allowed us to travel throughout the area without any concerns. Highly recommend and will be back.

Magical property and amazing views

We had an incredible week stay at Tim's house. It was a great base to explore the beaches on the north western coast and was a five minute drive to markets for anything you need in Coco, restaurants and the beach. It is stocked with all the supplies you would require for cooking and grilling, which we did every day. It was nice so exceptional that we decided it was better just to hang out, cook, enjoy the sunsets, and swim again and again. You won't want to leave these magical views and gorgeous house!

Sunset Central!

Can't beat it! The house is amazing and from Tim to Reyna to the concierge team, everything was perfect. Communication was great and it was so nice seeing Reyna's bright smile every morning. We spent every evening watching the sunset in the pool with a cocktail, it was breathtaking. We enjoyed having dinner on the patio and lounging on the hammock. Bottom line, Casa Timlin was the best place to be for our vacation! We look forward to returning soon!

Beyond Amazing!!

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Casa Timlin, our host Tim, and Reyna the housekeeper/chef. Tim was a huge resource for our trip, offering tips/tricks, restaurant recommendations, concierge services and more. He helped plan a special birthday dinner for my daughter. Tim was extremely responsive to all inquiries. The house was BEAUTIFUL. And Reyna prepared dinner one evening with our fresh catch from fishing. It was a perfect trip and we can't wait to visit Casa Timlin again!

Wonderful! Amazing home and location

Casa Timlin exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home and setting with gorgeous sunsets. Local restaurants were great but we enjoyed eating dinner at the home as much. Reyna is a wonderful cook and was so relaxing to enjoy the pool, views and veranda in the evening. Tim was great with the preparation and check-in process, making travel so easy and enjoyable. Our kids, aged 11-17, loved the house and area as well. We highly recommend!Lots to do in this area. We enjoyed Playa de Coco as well as Playa Hermosa, only a 10 minute drive. Both had great ocean waves and boogie boarding for hours! Diamonte adventure park was really fun as well as sailboat/snorkel/island bbq excursion through Don Bosco tours.We enjoyed surfing, rainforest, volcano, hanging bridges prior to staying at Casa Timlin, and would be worth looking into day trips and/or combining with another overnight, as all were really fun.

Immaculate Stay with perfect views

This house is probably better than the pictures...at least in 2024. If you prefer ocean views over a beachfront stay, this is an exquisite property. I would give it a 6 star rating on property due to the attention to detail of every single little thing about the house. Everything is there...there's nothing that hasn't been thought of...and it is arranged as if it were the Four Seasons Resort. The beach is 1/2 mile walk down the hill...and it is brown sand...hence the name Cocoa Beach. The owner was very congenial, and his housekeeper was an amazing young lady with a huge smile and vibrant personality.

Amazing experience .

From checkin to check out the experience was like no other I have had with a short term rental. The house itself is beyond expectation with breathtaking views and literally has everything you could need from pool and beach supplies to toiletries and kitchen essentials. Reyna was one of the best parts of our stay and her smile was invigorating. She cooked us some delicious authentic Costa Rican breakfast and lunch at our request. Tim checked in throughout our stay to ensure it was great. The hospitality was beyond expectations and the small touches to get our trip off to an awesome start and wine on the last day were very touching and unexpected. I would highly recommend and would give a 10/10! Thank you for an amazing first experience in Costa Rica and we hope to return soon.

Amazing place!

One of our BEST experiences renting a home. Tim was great from our initial messages when booking to our final checkout. We felt very welcomed and appreciated all he did for our family. Arriving late he thought to buy us items for breakfast and some local CR coffee. Reyna welcomed us each day with a bright smile and kept everything spotless. The house is amazing! The view from the infinity pool and patio kept us occupied for hours. We enjoyed sunsets each night from the hot tub or hammock. We loved the Coco area. Great restaurants and welcoming people. Beautiful beaches to the north and south. Loved every minute of our vacation! Grateful for your hospitality!!! 5 Stars for PEOPLE, PLACE, PROXIMITY, PICTURESQUE, and PURA VIDA!!!

Incredible Stay at Casa Timlin

This home is absolutely GORGEOUS! The views are incredible, the infinity pool is the perfect place to end your day with a cocktail to watch the sunset, and the home is luxurious with all the comforts you could ask for and more! Tim is immediately responsive and very helpful with information on the local restaurants and things to do. Reyna, the caretaker, is Lovely! She comes daily to tidy up (unlike home, she comes to make your bed and do the dishes!), she does your laundry as requested and she is an amazing cook! We had her cook dinner for us one evening and it was unanimously one of the most delicious meals we had on our vacation. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Costa Rica. This home with it's amenities is a vacation in itself! Thank you Tim and Reyna for elevating our vacation to the next level!

Amazing Home in Coco!

It is difficult to put into words how incredible Casa Timlin is! My husband, 2 grown children and I were simply blown away by this home. The solar hot tub, pool, patio and outdoor kitchen areas are absolutely beautiful and we spent most of our time out there, taking in the breathtaking views of Playa del Coco down below. The house itself is incredibly beautiful and perfectly appointed, from the fully stocked kitchen to the amazing local wood tables and pieces throughout. This was our first visit to Costa Rica, and we rented a vehicle which I highly recommend. Tim’s place was a short drive from area beaches, grocery stores, and lots of attractions, but honestly we wanted to spend lots of time at "home"! Tim was incredibly helpful and responsive, and felt like an old friend by the end of our stay. Book Casa Timlin...you will NOT be disappointed!
