"Perched high above Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the views are terrific. The rooms are exquisitely and thoughtfully furnished. The villa itself is like a museum with an endless and fascinating collection of art and objects. The breakfast was delicious and served by the owner himself. Although the weather was too chilly to sit outdoors, had it been warmer, it would have been an ideal place to lounge and enjoy the pool. Parking is on the street, but it was not a problem. Highly recommend for an experience...

"The room was very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area not too near the centre or the main attractions.. A short bus ride or a taxi ride, but not in the centre of things. Sadly the pool was not open as it only does from June to the autumn. The gym pool (indoor) and their facilities can be used at extra daily cost."

"Rooms were very small photos were very misleading and staff weren’t particularly friendly. We were leaving early on our departure day and they refused to sell us a coffee without buying a full breakfast, very odd behaviour. Wouldn’t recommend or return"

"The lady at the reception was very helpful, she helped us book some tickets for a coach home that was all on a Spanish website and didn’t translate. The hotel itself, was good, finishing was so so, the handle on the disabled wall bars were loose, but didn’t need them so not terrible. The grates on the floor in the shower were a little patchy, so made sure to shower with the kids to avoid any accidents. The 19 bus going from outside was ideal into town."

"Great facilities and excellent customer services. Well located, chilled ambiance, very welcoming. We had some issues with the bed being on hard side our usual comfort sleep but staff were propmpt in providing a mattress topping. The only negative aspect was parking charges being quite steep. I would definitely recommend the hotel."
