Exceptional property in a beautiful, tranquil, convenient location

This property is simply stunning. A tranquil location, near to a local village, and close enough to a larger town … you will need a car. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and will definitely be looking to book again in the future. We met the host on time who was very welcoming and friendly. We had a comprehensive tour of the house and were given all the necessary instruction and advice. We are a party of 11 from 3 families, 6 adults and 5 children. All the accommodation is of a very good size with excellent bathroom facilities and ample storage. All the furniture, fittings and equipment is good quality and in excellent condition. The kitchen is well equipped for a large group, with initial basic needs provided, and the outside communal eating space works really well. The pool is a massive asset, clean, well maintained and big enough to swim in … a perfect distraction for everyone. The nearest night life and bigger shops are a short drive away but that suited us. The host was a delight - helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A brilliant all round experience, highly recommend.

Tout y est parfaitement pensé : la maison est spacieuse, très fonctionnelle, d’une propreté irréprochable et offre une vue magnifique sur la campagne environnante. Les hôtes se sont montrés d’une grande disponibilité et d’une hospitalité remarquable, toujours prêts à rendre service et à partager leurs bons conseils pour découvrir la région. La situation est idéale pour explorer un territoire d’une richesse incroyable, entre villages pittoresques, sites historiques et nature préservée.Une adresse à recommander!

Fantastic property

We have stayed in many properties in France and this is by far the best we have stayed in. Clean, comfortable and everything you need for a perfect holiday. Sitting on the patio looking at the lovely view was great. The pool area and the pool was used everyday. Being close to Sarlat for the supermarket and restaurants was also great. Overall a brilliant stay.

Très belle Villa au cœur de la Dordogne

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette Villa très confortable, cuisine équipée comme dans une résidence principale. Très grande piscine chauffée et très bien entretenue (le pisciniste passe régulièrement pour vérifier la propreté de l’eau). La propriétaire est à la fois discrète et toujours disponible en cas de problème. A proximité des attractions touristiques de la région.

Warm welcome in the countryside

We stayed at this villa with my mother and our children (4 boys aged between 9-15) and had a lovely week at the villa. Virginie was very welcoming on arrival and provided a very detailed explanation of the villa. It is beautifully decorated and was exceedingly well-stocked making it a home from home. The pool is a great size and so the boys had hours of fun in it whilst we were able to enjoy the shade of the various seating areas. We love the region and appreciated the views of the countryside and Marquay whilst being close to Sarlat and other key places to visit. We would highly recommend the villa and would happily return.

Super long weekend entre amis

Nous avons passé quatre jours exceptionnels dans cette villa. Elle allie caractère et standards modernes de confort. Le soleil était de la partie et nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine. Même sans lui, le grand séjour nous aurait autorisé de pleinement profiter de notre temps ensemble. La vue de la terrasse est juste magnifique. L'accueil a été chaleureux et les propriétaires ont étés aux petits soins pour nous. Cette location est simplement irréprochable. J'espère franchement avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.

Grande maison à la campagne (15 grosses minutes de Sarlat par les petites routes) dans un groupe de 3 maisons gérées par le même propriétaire. A 5 min de Marquay ou il y a un dépôt de pain (le pain est bon). Piscine top (avec robot nettoyeur et chauffée), pelouse fraichement tondue, fond d'épicerie bien fournie et serviettes à disposition. Confortable et bien équipée, literie nickel. A recommander sans hésitation.

Fantastisch huis met 180 graden uitzicht

We hebben enorm genoten in dit fantastische huis. Het kleine zwembadje wad een extraatje voor onze kleindochter van 1,5 jaar. Goed ingericht, mooie locatie , vriendelijke ontvangst en niet ver van allerlei bezienswaardigheden. Voor herhaling vatbaar

From arrival to departure everything was perfect Having stayed in holiday rental properties in France and England over the past thirty five years, my. "A little bit of paradise"

Nothing can be said about this wonderful property but glowing remarks. The location of this house is set within serene surroundings and wonderful views. As for the hosts Virginie and Patrice, the most frindly and helpful of people you could ever want. The pools is a dream and everything you need is supplied within the house. Villa Domaine De La Malonie

Zeer, ruime en propere villa. Alle kamers net verzorgd en heel mooi aangekleed. Ook steeds zeep en shampoo voorzien. Gezamenlijke ruimtes zoals keuken, living,... waren eveneens in orde. Mooi en groot terras en een verzorgde tuin. Zwembad was eveneens zeer goed onderhouden en goed gelegen. Ook gelegen in een zeer mooie en rustige omgeving. Aanrader om met kinderen te doen.

A pretty faultless experience

We stayed as a family of 6 for two weeks in July 2019. That’s high season and we paid the proverbial king’s ransom. Worth every penny as you’re getting a premium product and a lot more. The house is situated close to a village but you really are in the middle of nowhere, about a 15 minute drive from the beautiful town of Sarlat,with a view which is far better than any picture can convey. The house itself is just fabulous. Everything is quality and, if anything is missing, we didn’t find it. It is as good as it looks. We’ve been renting from HomeAway for years and this is the first house with a Bose wireless sound bar ! The pool area is separate and very well set up and secure for young children. The pool itself was first class. It’s worth noting that you are not entirely on your own as the house is part of a group of four, this one being the biggest. You are not overlooked in any way. The owner was superb. She was there if you needed her ( we had a bunch of wasps starting to set up a nest - one phone call, problem solved while we were out for an hour ) but was otherwise a very discreet presence and very conscious of keeping out of your way. We had the added bonus of a separate house on the site where the owner had set up a leisure area with static bikes, a fussball table and our favourite, a table tennis table. Normally after two weeks you reach the point where you’re glad to be heading home . Not here ! We’ll definitely be back...

Gorgeous house in a beautiful settings.

This place exceeded our expectations. It looked better than the pictures and it is very well equippeded and clean. There is everything you need in the house itself and it also has very nice outside area with nice furnishing and a big table to eat outside. It is new inside and is nicely and well furnished. A lot of small little details add a nice extra to the house. The swimming pool is very nice and warm and there is also a very good seating area The surroundings is very nice and within 30 minutes drive you can reach a lot of small interesting and beautiful places or all kinds of outdoor activities. Sarlat is a beautiful city with a very nice medieval center and also it only takes you around few minutes to drive to Marquay, the nearest little town. Virginie was very helpful and told us about all kinds of things to do and helped us in every way. She was always available and it was very easy to contact her. We were a large family of eight from 10 years to 67 years. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we could not have asked for anything more. We would love to come back to this beautiful place. Fantastic Property

This property is quite a special place. The home is new- traditional on the outside, contemporary and clean on the inside. It’s absolutely beautiful, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and a view of the hilltop village of Marquay. There are several outdoor seating areas with nice furnishings for breakfast , dinner or lounging by the pool. There were seven of us, and we all loved the place. We would really like to return sometime.

Amazing property with fantastic hosts

We would highly recommend this property to anyone but particularly families. The property is very large with an amazing pool, at least as good as the pictures. When we arrived the house was immaculate, it looked like nobody had ever stayed there. Virginie and Patrice were extremely welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help us. The way the houses are designed nobody is overlooked. The views and sunsets were incredible.

Beautiful house in a very beautiful setting. Well equipped with enough storage for 14 people.

A gorgeous house. It is very new, beautifuliy designed, well built and in a stunning position on the side of a valley overlooking a small village. We found the house very clean, tidy and well equipped. Plenty of outside sitting space on the terrace outside . The house faces South so that you get the benefit of sunshine all day and get a good view of amazing sunsets. The pool area is superb. The pool is heated and very safe for children having a double door locked entry to prevent children having access when no adults are about. Madam Vereley was a delight being extremely helpful. She left us to ourselves to enjoy our holiday but was very quick to spring into action when the drains got blocked, for which she was most apologetic. All in all a lovely place for a family holiday in a lovely and isolated spot far from the maddening crowd. If this is the sort of place that you are looking for the we thoroughly recommend it. If you are looking for night life and late nights it’s not for you. Roger Moore Solihull.
