"We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!"

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"Amazing hotel and views -the location is unbeatable, the pool and property is amazing, in fact none of the pictures proves justice, this is an amazing hotel with lots to offers…. A car is required to get to the hotel, although I didn’t partake in any of the spa it did look amazing - the pool and the drinks are amazing - the breakfast is amazing where you can sit on the terrace - the restaurant offers good food although I thought it was a bit too much and overly fancy for nothing - and the taste wasn’t really there. "It’s hard to put into words how beautiful, peaceful and serene this property is. We stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly, food and wine delicious, and the property was truly stunning. We spent an amazing day by the pool overlooking the gorgeous vineyard. They offer a delicious breakfast and in the evenings an amazing dinner menu. I also saw a lot of reviews complaining about the narrow roads and I feel i need to clarify for anyone worried about this - the roads were absolutely fine, there are endless spots to pull over if needed. I cannot recommend Quinta da Gricha enough to anyone looking to stay in the area. One of the most picturesque spots in the whole valley. "
