"This was a great motel. I wanted somewhere that was within walking distance of Saugatuck but would be easy to park at and not be crowded. This motel worked perfectly. You can walk right into town in approximately 15 minutes. Staff was very friendly. They were even able to check us in early. The largest 'mini-fridge' I've ever had in a room. Be aware that there isn't a microwave in your room but is in a common room along with the ice. Not a problem for me, but something to be aware of. I would definitely come here again. "

"We decided to visit Saugatuck for a few days (it had been many years since we had been there). We wanted a place with great reviews that allowed our sweet golden retriever to accompany us. This place surpassed our expectations! This property is immaculate and was very tastefully appointed inside. The location was perfect, both to get to downtown as well as to a beautiful inter urban trail (Mildred Peterson Nature Preserve) nearby for nature ( and dog) walking."

To have a main and guest house works great for larger parties. Access to a chef was a treat you don't get at most properties and the beach at sunset was spectacular! "The 4bedrooms are so spacious and the living areas (living room, dining, kitchen) are so inviting to hang out with family and friends together. While I've stayed at many rentals, I was impressed by the small touches available here - enough paper towels, detergent, TVs in the rooms, smart thermostat, fully stocked cooking supplies in the kitchen, etc. We could easily have just brought ourselves and clothes and been set! Also, we spent a lot of time on the deck, which had a view of the river. Those made for some relaxing mornings and sunset evenings. The owner was also very easy to reach and communicate with. Five stars all around!"
